The Bones Are There!

This course is 9 holes that we played twice. The greens are very tiny and not very nice whatsoever. Dead spots, shaggy, weeds. However, the bones are there for an interesting layout. Many, many dramatic elevation changes. The fairways are just shorter backyard grass/clover weeds, and almost impossible to differentiate from "first cut" or "rough." Apparently it has come a long way from what it looked like a few years ago. It needs a LOT of work, but the bare bones of the course itself kept the day fun and interesting. Price was reasonable enough and the gentleman inside was accommodating.

GOAT HILL

Goat Hill, aka Waynesboro Municipal, is an open fairway 9 hole course with plenty of challenges for experienced golfers and plenty of space for beginners. If you're walking the course remember, it's not called Goat "HILL" for nothing!

The greens are being attacked by some type of caterpillar or grub so there are dead patches- Dan is trying to battle through it and has improved the course since taking over... he will get it right I know it!

Enjoyed the course

This is the first time playing here and I found the course to be in relatively decent shape and enjoyable to play. Good value for the price.

For the Price, Good

The Greens are not great and need some work. Overall the course is in decent shape and I would play here again.

Wow!

Lots of potential, but you must staff people with golf knowledge and a friendly smile! Cashier told me- "We do not want to be here all night, so you will pay for 9 holes."

Best 9 hole course

This course used to be own by the city, not anymore! Thank God! They have a driving net which I used and the owner who is a PGA PRO came out to help me with a problem I was having. He helped me solve my hitting problem. He bought this course late last year and it looks 100% better and they're still making improvements. So if you want to work on your game, don't go to the range come here. Thanks for reading this and give them a try. Art
