Nothing to “write home to Mom about”…
…unless you want to brag about NOT getting run over by an SUV while driving your cart across a 45mph zoned highway…or navigating such a confusing cart path that half the time was INTERTWINED with neighborhood streets in Anytown, USA…or putting on greens where I’m pretty sure; a football team may or may not of conducted tackling drills on each one of them, just prior to my round…or pace of play that was symbolic to the Shepard Hills GC entirely…summed up in a “C student” notion sort of way; Not surging ahead cleanly, while not falling behind totally.
In short, I won’t go out of my way to play here again given all the other course in Eastern, PA.

Solid Course, Tight fairway
Course was fun with good conditions and amenities. The fairways were narrow as it was a neighborhood, but still very fun.
Fairways a little rough (no pun intended), greens a little
slow, but overall a good value for the money.
Hidden Gem
Very nice golf course with a friendly vibe to it. I drove over an hour to play it and would do it again. My one minor complaint was that they absolutely need better signage to get from hole to hole. Either paint arrows onto the cart path or post more informative signs, but do something! There is no map on the scorecard, either.
This course meanders through several neighborhoods with multiple road crossings. There are houses everywhere.
The course was in great condition and for me, that is the bottom line. I recommend playing the course and will do so in the future.
Narrow fairways
Course is in very good shape, greens was a little slow. Played as a two in right at e hours, partner was a member. That was a big help with the next shot. Fairways are narrow but enough rough to keep ball in play.
Great round
Short track but fun for all ability levels. Pace of play was a bit slow but it was a Sunday afternoon in June, every course is crowded. Course is in great shape. Not a straight putt on the course, but speed was manageable. Plenty of amenities between the pro shop, tavern, tiki bar and snack shop. Will be back to Shepherds Hill!
