Talk to the Staff
Went to this course on a recommendation. I arrived, handed over my card, and asked what the process was since it was my 1st time. After swiping my card I was instructed that only the front 9 were open because they were airrating the back 9. Bummer, should have asked 1st! Then I was told I could get out before the 2 leagues started. Shot the 1st 9 and pulled back up to start the 1st 9 again. Must have been 20 carts waiting. Went in to the clubhouse to express my frustrations and ran into the club general manager Dean. Told him what happened and he was really cool. He gave me a gift card to come back when the course was under normal conditions. I appreciated the understanding and courtesy he presented. I will be back simply because of the customer service! I loved the elevation changes on the front 9, so I have to check out the back 9. Thanks you Dean for making a wrong into a right!
First timer
Booked the night before as a single when my day became available for me to play. If I have to drive 75 miles to get to play a new track once in a while, so be it. The 4.8/5 stars and super early time got me to play Twin Lakes.
I was the only car I saw in the parking lot when I arrived. Two carts with 3 guys drove by and said good morning and headed to the tee. They said they were employees getting some play in. I wished them a good day and waited for the pro shop to open.
Found out inside they aerated earlier in the week. We all hate it, but we all understand it is a necessity. Still rolled quick, just hard to keep on line.
6000+ from the tips. That’s where I like to play. Thought about whites at 5700, because of being my first time playing, but got to go out by myself so played the back tees.
I love the par 3s from the blue tees. 4 of the 5 are around 170 yards. 6 and 18 are over water with 18 playing 200+ yards. Not as much as elevation changes as I thought, but enough elevated tee boxes and some greens gave me some nice visual's early in the morning.
Overall in very nice shape. A little wet in areas but nothing too bad. Only got into 1 trap today and easily got out of the freshly manicured trap.
Didn’t know where to return my cart. Got lucky and found the right spot conveniently accidentally. Spoke to a very busy man, probably the manager, he was happy to hear that as a first time player I’d play again. I hope to bring my group up in the summer to see the course in full glory. Until then, I recommend this course and DEFINITELY look forward to returning.
Price on Golf Now was much different at the course
The price quoted on golf now was about 13 dollars different when I showed up at the course. Not only did it happen to us but it happened to the golfer after us as well. This has been the only course that this has happened to me.
Please look into why twin lakes system doesn’t link properly to golf now.
Someone please contact me.
Fun Round of Golf
The course was in good condition for a late March round. Pace of play was great (3.5 hours) for 18 holes. Will be back!
I’ll be back!
Me and my friends couple played this course first time and when I got there it seems pretty easy course nothing special not like hilly up and down or narrow fairways. I thought I probably had better scores than other courses but I was wrong this course looks easy but green was not easy at all most of them are not flat so 3 putts easily which make me to come back play again
BEST STAFF IN LEHIGH VALLEY
THE Club at Twin Lakes was a great experience! JT the pro and April (his assistant) were super accommodating and very friendly to my group and every group of golfers that came in! Even was able to book lessons with JT which I’m super excited for! Will for sure be back.
