Shepherd Hills Golf Club

Booked through GolfNow for a $34 green fee with "lunch included". They honored neither the price nor the lunch. When asked about it, the high school kid working the register could only shrug his shoulders and say "well it's a holiday, and we've not offered lunch in years". And then, "my manager will be in later".

After the round we stopped by the clubhouse again with the email confirmation of the details. Different high school kid behind the register, same answers to everything, only difference was it turned into "my manager won't be in today".

No attempt to resolve the situation at that time. No acceptance of accountability. Not even a "Gee, sorry for the confusion."

Issue still trying to be resolved. Wasn't a huge sum of money between what we were charged and what was advertised, but it was enough to make us choose that course for that day.

Slow greens and deep rough everywhere. if you suck like I do, thIs course gets tough as there’s houses next to almost every stretch of fairway and the rough gets pretty difficult to get the ball out of. The layout of the holes is wacky as it feels like you’re driving through a neighborhood that has a golf course going through it. Overall, pretty fun and cheap

It was a fun course to play my wife and I had a good time. Greens were slow so easy to keep putts low.

This was our 2nd time here, we played here on Memorial day which was a good time. We like everything about the course except that people who live around the course thinks the golf course is a neighborhood park????

On the 15 th hole, we were about to tee off when a family of bikers decided to ride across the fairway... I have been playing golf for over 20 yrs, I have Never seen this...

Then on the 17th hole we were about to take our 2nd shot, when we see a guy walking towards us with his Dog.... WTH, people walking their dog in the golf course at 3pm.....

Not sure if we will be coming back, the course management should enforce that people other then golfers should NOT be on the course at any moment.......

First time in years seen slow play by a group. They came out and told the group to pick up play. AAAAA+++++ This should be done on every course. Too many trying to duplicate a Pro. Will play this course again and thanks to available food and drink. All the staff deserves a big hand.

Course was in best overall shape I've seen it, in the past several years. However, the greens, which were notably

improved a couple of years ago, were very slow, due in part to rain the previous day.

On a decent layout... way too many weeds and crabgrass ruts etc, course needs a good dose of John Deere.

they have definitely put to T L C into this course the past few years,, especially this year they have have paved cart paths just about every hole and the traps at full of sand they really did some nice work
