Great course
Very thin fairways but plenty roon in high rough. Tough greens with no easy reads. Medium but good roll. Excelent staff. We were only twosome and group ahead let us play through.
Great Day
We had a twosome and played in 3 hours.The course was in Fine
condition and represents a tremendous value for the very reasonable green fees.
Best Day of the Year
I thoroughly enjoy playing at Shepherd Hills. The rough was well manicured and the fairways cut to perfection.
I wished they had more ball washers on the course.
One thing this is a must is the need to have drinking water on the course.

Good condition, should have senior Tees
No place to drop off the bags. Poor clubhouse service, course is nice, needs ball washers and bathrooms.
Fun course
Got to the course just ahead of a twilight league. Joined up with two gentlemen and off we went. The course snakes its way between houses, streets, a bank, and wooded areas. The greens have a lot of break to them. Greens were running medium speed when played. Good thing because they'd be almost unputtable if running fast. A few blind shots. Drive it straight off the tee and you'll be fine. Hit it wayward and you'll be in the houses.
The lady in the pro shop and the young man at the cart return were both very friendly. People at the adjacent bar were having a good time, too!
Feb. Golf
Can't beat the conditions & price for this time of year. Greens were slow due to rains & season but very nice.
Thanks for the opportunity to play this early in the northeast. keep up the good work!
Real Value
The course is not the longest nor the most difficult, but for late February was in great shape. I've always liked the greens at Sheppard Hills because they've got som movement to them. Not just flat! The young man in the Pro Shop was extremely nice as well.

Had to play a course the day they top dressed the greens and they did not tell us in advance.
Jim's Round
I had a great round of golf. Pace was good with two groups in front of me for the afternoon. Tee boxes and greens were in excellent shape. Fairways were okay with some weeds in the fairway. Grass on the fairway was well maintained as was the first cut and rough. The rough was fair but still challenging. Staff was friendly and the maintenance staff was very courteous when you were taking a shoot. Will be going back until winter really sets in.
Good public course
Course is always in good shape- greens are a little slow but run true
Great course.
Me as an amateur golfer, I enjoy playing here cause it brings my game to a new level. I know I have to do better each hole. Staff is friendly and the price is great. I would keep going to Shepherd Hills.
This course is in great condition! They have made many improvements in 2017 with more to come in 2018. The greens are best in the valley! My family and I have been playing this course as long as I can remember. Friendly staff and a great price!
Animals in Distress Golf Tournament
Everything golf related for the tournament was great. All signs were out, the CTP measuring devices were great and the long drive signs were out there. Check in was efficient and everyone got done in under 4 1/2 hours.
Beautiful Greens and Challenging.
Lovely course, great bargain. Easy T time booking.
Challenges a golfers accuracy off the tee.
