Great value but layout needs work

I had not played this course before so this is only a one time experience. The front nine was in pretty good shape with some challenging holes. The back nine was where it fell apart for me. The greens were poorly maintained and the layout was just bad. Great value for the price though for a weekend session.

Nicely maintained course, weird course layout, several par 5’s on the front and several par 3’s on the back. Also a few weird tee box placements, kinda confusing if it’s your first time like myself. I’d go back though

Love WhitePlains. It is good shape and a great value. There are some real challenging holes that force you to switch up your play rather than just driver, iron, putt. Some of the par fives and par fours require lay-up strategic ball placement, especially on the back 9.

We really like this course. It’s has some challenging holes. Greens are okay for the most part. Distance between a few Tee boxes can be challenging for new golfers. Cart paths are pretty rough. But for the money I would give them 4 stars.
