About
Beavercreek G.C. is one of the most popular public golf courses in Ohio. Although it is a public facility the atmosphere and amenities give it the feel of a private club. The course is known for its challenging layout that will test even experienced players. It sprawls across a scenic landscape of streams and woodlands that provides an ideal setting for a round. The layout may be a bit rough on beginners with its fast, difficult-to-read greens and thick cuts of rough. Trees frame many of the holes and water hazards come into play a few times. The narrow fairways demand accuracy and there are also strategically placed bunkers along the greensides to deal with. While it is known for being challenging, its excellent conditions have also added to Beavercreek Golf Club's reputation. The greens and fairways are consistently well maintained.

Very solid
In Dayton for work and heard good things about the course. It did not disappoint. About the only negative I have is that the course was very crowded with leagues just about every evening. The course layout was pretty awesome. Very challenging but also had some easy holes sprinkled in. There are tons of hazards to deal with and prior course knowledge would really help. It was still pretty wet out there from rain 2 days before so that tells me the course doesn’t drain great. The rest of the course conditions were excellent. The greens were nice and smooth and rolled great. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.
Nice layout, challenging, fun course, pricey
Played Beavercreek yesterday, it was a nice sunny day out, booked solid very busy day for the course. Pace of play was very slow, took us about 5 hours to play as the 4somes in front of us were very slow.; nowhere to go because the course was busy. For $60 weekend rate I expected the course to be in better condition and maybe a ranger keeping folks moving along on pace. The greens were mowed in the morning before we teed off, our tee time was around 8AM.
Overall had a good experience and the course plays well. Some of the conditions of the course could be better though for the price. I will play here again later in the summer.
Worth the $
Great lay out always in great shape and fast greens.
Walking this course is not recommended. I have but its further from green to tee than tee to green. Just get a cart. The only down side to this course is it gets so much play there are lots of divots in the fairways.
Always in excellent shape and a good value.
I have played this course about six times and it's always in excellent shape and the staff is great. A great value when booked on Golfnow.com.
