Panorama Golf Club - Rolling Hills Course

I was informed when I got there that they had a new policy that if there is back to back single booking then they will pair you up, and that you will only get one golf cart, this slows play down tremendously if you are not a great golfer like I am, and I prefer to play on my own. when I booked it online it clearly states that included in the price is one golf cart per player, for this reason I will be looking at other places to play.

Green condition was excellent for dormant seasons. A handful of the greens had some extreme slopes that weren't obvious until you putted across them. Course knowledge is also a must to score on these.

Staff was excellent everywhere. Our played was slowed by a five-some of members two groups in front of us, but the marshall was able to move us to the other course for our second nine which greatly improved the pace of play and made it much more enjoyable.

Tried to play there again. Once again, over booked so they had to pair us up with other players. I booked later in day to avoid. That was a waste of time. I do not pay good money to play golf with people I do not know. and have people breathing down my neck while playing. Panorama does not care. Also back nine had people walking the course in front of us. Nothing more fun than playing with people you don’t know and other people breathing down you neck except waiting on people in front of you walking the course. Thanks for taking the joy out of my round.....

There was a frost delay. 45 mins. Then paired our group with another because they were behind starting. Not right! Not our fault! We should not be penalized for not forewarning everyone.. When I complained I was reprimanded. Not a way to treat customer.

Use caution deciding to play here.

We played 1 & 10 in the score card. The terrific maintenance staff had the falling leaves blown off the fairways, first cut, and greens. They were in the process of mulching the leaves in the secondary ruff. Unlike 80% of the courses in the area Panorama was ready for obstruction free play. The greens are there normal perfect condition. If you like a tour level putting test this is the course for you. Staff friendly as always. Had to wait for carts to be brought out due to the Xmas rush of golfers needing to try out their new toys. Not a long wait cart kid was working as fast as he could. This is so far the best course for the money in all of North Houston. I play all over Houston area and this is the only course that is on my must play Every week. If I don’t get to play I’ll have Panorama withdrawals that no other course can cure.

I have not been able to play Panorama for about a month . Coming back I still am amazed at how Great these Greens are . Playing courses around Houston whenever I am paired with someone we usually talk about what courses we have played and the condition of the course .Whenever Panorama comes up everyone says the same thing . Wow what Great Greens Panorama has .! Panorama makes me a better golfer playing their PGA level Greens . As a Bonus they have a great and kind staff . Thank you Panorama!

Panarama Village is an outstanding golf course with 27 holes to offer. The grounds crew continues to do an outstanding job with managing the course, greens and fairways. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Great atmosphere for friendly game of golf and or serious golf if you wish to join in. I would recommend anyone who cares about the game of golf, to visit Panarama village golf course and enjoy the atmosphere that surrounds this great facility.

Course in great shape.. challenging yet playable for the hacker. Will be back.

Heyck if I reviewed the course every time I played it you would be sick of seeing my reviews. Look the course is in excellent shape and the greens are excellent as well... the leaves are falling out here but the crew is keeping them blown off the fairways and pushed into the rough then mulched up so its easy to find a stray shot. Anyway my only complaint would be that during the week the course is now getting pretty full., which is good for the ol' cash register. Keep up the good work guys and I will review if something is not right, Otherwise, get out here and play this course!.

It was a cold day to start that never warmed up as predicted. The course is in great winter shape and the greens are awesomely fast as always. Much to my demise. 3 putted first 4 holes. It started to rain lightly on my 16 hole and continued through completion.. A final 3 putt on my 18th hole to remind me who’s boss at Panorama. The greens. The staff has always been friendly. Mr Charlie gave me a heads up about the green speed when I picked up my cart. Mrs Teresa always welcomes you when you check in. The grounds crew try their best to keep the fairways and greens clean. A thankless task on a tree lined course. I’ve never experienced anything negative with the staff, grounds crew, layout, or course conditions.

Best greens in Houston; at least that I’ve played this year. Super fast and true. If your approach game is not good, or you struggle with putting, this will be a difficult course. I’d go back for sure!!

Everything was good on the golf course. Except for the greens which are in good shape but way too fast for the average golfer. Enjoyed the round even without calling the corner pocket.

It’s possible there may be “Country Club” type courses in the area, but Panorama is absolutely the finest course in the area in my price range.

Stayed away from this course because of a review from a friend who played here in 2017 and refused to go back. Nice fairways, challenging greens, and 2 or 3 really fun holes. Would definitely go back especially if you can score a <$20 hot deal.

I play many different courses around the Houston area and Panorama currently has the Best greens. They will challenge all golfers with tough slopes on many holes . When I play this course I play two scores . The course score and the number of putts on the greens . The staff is always kind and friendly. So if putting is your strength give Panorama a try and count your Putts .

The course is in excellent shape for early fall. The leaves are starting to fall so finding balls in the rough may be a little tricky but if you are a fairway player then no problems. The greens are rolling pretty fast and have some undulations in them. All in all a pleasant round of golf with a friendly and accommodating staff.
