Could not honor Golfnow tee time
Tee Time was for 11:12 a.m. on January 28. Course was back up at least 30 minute and they could not get me on another set of holes. It was obvious play was going to be very slow. I left. I have requested a refund from Golfnow.
Golf Experience
We had a tee time for 11:36, but didn't tee off on time due to a golf tourney. The people were nice to us and thanked us for being patient. The course layout was nice and considering the weather, the course was in pretty good shape. This was my first time playing and I had a group of 4. The people treated us really nice and I would recommend this course to anyone. I will come back to play again. I would love to see what the course looks like during the spring.

Good course for value
Due to closure of another nearby course course was overbooked. Had to wait over 40 minutes after tee time to get cart. Play moved swiftly though once on course. Like layout. Course in good shape

The Village Golf Course
I really enjoyed my day although the weather wasn't the ideal condition to play a round of golf. The check-in was fast and easy and the associate helping me was very friendly. The course is in great shape, especially for it to be winter. I would definitely recommend other people to play here. The only negative that I had was that the driving range was not open, therefore I could not warm up before playing. I would say all in all it was a great experience.

Course in Tough Condition
I know it is somewhat the off-season for this course but there overseed on the greens is extremely spotty and has not filled in. The other major problem is the amount of leaves on this course and it doesn't look like there is any real game plan in place to eliminate these leaves such as blowing or chopping them up and then blowing them. The last thing is that they have over-watered close to the greens and the ball plugs in the muddy areas close to the greens. The shame is that all 3 nines at this course are pretty good layouts.

If you are wishing to hit the ball on a good course without spending a fortune, this is the place.

Decent Course
I would say this is a decent course. Average fairways but pretty good greens. For seniors it is a good deal.
Updated
The Village has definitely come a long way since I've played there! The quality of the course has improved significantly and now they even have touch screens on the carts! Course is in great shape right now for the price!
Slow following 5-somes
I hate playing behind several groups of 5-somes.
The course is ok and the fairways were in good shape. The greens were average.
Good Beginner Coarse
Thought the greens were in good shape and the oveall coarses difficulty factor is good for beginning golfers.

Make the trip to The Village Golf course
It appears the conditions have improved significantly at this course regarding past postings.. The greens were in good shape, fairways were as well. Although it rain a lot the day I played, I will be back. Bring your straight driver here, narrow fairways aplenty. Always enjoy the elevation changes of this course.
Course Requires Work
The Village is a fun course - we played Winged Foot and Rolling Hills the nines in the best shape. The fairways are OK but need work - there are signs of the issues being addressed. The greens are not in good shape with many small bare spots on all the greens - they will require quite a bit of maintenance in the next month. The staff and members are nice. The food and drink are great. The layout of all 3 nines are good and if the money is there for maintenance this will be a really good course. We just roll the ball everywhere to make the round more enjoyable - if you play it as it lies, you will probably not be happy due to the course conditions.

A beautiful Sunday
The greens are in poor shape but overall the course is in decent condition. It's not a course that will beat you up if you left or right of the fairway. We enjoy playing. They have too many scrambles and you end up with people waiting around, on top of you or backed up at the next tee box. Be patient if you play here.
Sweet course nestled in a charming community
We had a fine round on 18 with a cart. We liked the setting and seeing wildlife. Everyone was friendly. No waiting. Long fairways for a low Golf Now price.
disease on greens
The course was in terrible shape many bare and thin spots on the fairways and greens. Looked like some disease on the greens with almost no grass on holes 10 - 16.

Never Again
It was my first time visiting this course and my last. First off the starter asked us to wait for 2 groups to make the turn before our twosome teed off, which put us about 20 minutes behind our tee time( guess that's member perks). The front 9 was decent I'll admit, not great but decent but the back 9 we played was horrible. Half the greens were dirt and I don't mean the grass was a little dead, there was no grass on them. Thanks for the warning
before we teed off guys. Long story short, they'll never get my money or time again.

Poor Track
My niece and I played here for the first time when visiting family near the course. Nice people and staff. Just a poor course...we played Thunderbird to Winged Foot. The majority of the Thunderbird greens didn't have any grass. Winged Foot played much nicer.
Nice Course
First time playing the Village, enjoyed the day with my daughter. Greens were going thru maintenance/hydro seeding in preperation for Summer, we did enjoy ourselves and for the price I will play it again.
