Nice local municipal course.

Definitely worth the money!

Nice layout, but not a speck of green anywhere on the fairways except for weeds. This course needs management and/or money in the worst way. Kinda sad.

Fun course layout with the some challenging holes. Unfortunately, some of the greens and even a couple fairways are in pretty rough shape. Played midweek and it was pretty empty. Staff was friendly.

Highland Golf Course in Aberdeen, continues to set the standard as the premier golf destination in the harbor. This course is a hidden gem that blends challenging play with breathtaking views. Last year I remember playing here and loving the challenge; sloped fairways and elevated greens gave it a certain appeal. When I came back this year, I was wildly disappointed:

Tee boxes were chewed up grass and gravel;

Cart path was more of a washed out rut than an actual path;

Greens were 50% dead grass, 50% dirt.

The course layout gets confusing between 5 and 8; all these fairways parallel and loop around each other, so it’s easy to get mixed up with no clear direction.

I can’t in good conscience recommend this course to any one, especially not at $50-$70 per round.

The course was dry, it is very hilly so being dry really effects your game. The greens are in very poor condition, worn out, cracks in the surface and large bare area's. Played here a year ago. The course has really gone down hill and not wRainierorth the cost.

Course has an interesting layout. Challenging but not crazy. Lots of side hill lies and slopping fairways. Perhaps a somewhat links type course, with very few float lies.

Played on a weekday. To me, this is “kind of” a links type course. The fairways are not manicured to be like Astro turf but are bumpy and uneven. Rarely a flat lie anywhere. The greens are a little rough but it is early in the year and expected. All in all, I like the challenge of this course and will play it more.

The course was a fun challenge. Greens are a little rough this early in the season but should bet better when they punch them in a couple of weeks.

I thought I was booking the highland golf course in gearhart Oregon as that was the area I was searching. And then there was no way to cancel that I could find. So I got charged for a course I never played. thanks golf now.

Why there are two golf courses with the same name within 1.5 hrs drive is beyond me.

Really Awesome course in the PNW especially after it has gotten some rain. Great greens awesome place that been around since the Great Depression and still kicking. Will be back to play again for sure.

This is a pretty laid back course. Set perfectly surrounded by what you’d expect from the PNW. Greens are a little rough, but getting better as the season goes on.

The course is hilly, dry, fairways very bumpy and hard, but the greens were pretty true albeit with some areas bare of grass. There aren't a lot of options in Aberdeen, so it was nice to get out anyway. The staff member was very friendly, helpful and professional.

The golf course has some very interesting and fun holes, but the lack of water had baked out the fairways to the point that often times you were hitting off of bare dirt. It could be a very run place to play if the conditions were better.

I’ve been playing here for close to 20 years. Highlands is a beautiful course tucked back just outside of town, and it’s my favorite local course to play. My son is now 9, and has just recently started golfing this course as well, and it’s great for Highlands to be the course we get to share that at.
