Twin Rivers Golf Course

Poor conditions, tee boxes were rough, golf carts were beat up and dirty, unplayable greens, definitely not worth the 68$ tee time

I haven’t played here in many years. This course has went completely downhill! The fairways were not mowed and in horrible shape. Same with the tee boxes. The greens were the worst I’ve ever seen. Blotchy and slow. Honestly this is the worst golf course I think I’ve ever played. So sad. I will not be back.

I was able to walk on earlier than my tee time. Great proshop staff. Did 18 holes walking in 2.5 hours. Good home layout. Good challenges. Fairways were very hard and greens soft. . Middle of the afternoon and no crowds. I will come again.

I was paired with a couple and another single who were familiar with the course. The tee boxes were mostly in fair condition, with only a couple of the par 3s that had mats down for the tee box. Most of the greens were in fair to poor condition, and one with half the green under repair. Most likely won’t be coming back until the course improves, or at least notifications of the course conditions are published.

This is a good practice track, don’t expect quality conditions.

I used to play Twin Rivers many years ago and it was a decent rural course with reasonable green fed. I played with my friends on 8/22/26 and it was expensive. $77 with a cart. The tees were marked but non existent. Teeing off on dirt. The fairways were acceptable at best but the grass is like a cow pasture. The greens were horrible with most of them only having 1/2 puttable. The greens either had dead grass or dirt on them. Not sure if the greens are diseased but the grass was pitiful. Very sad they should consider shutting down.

It’s very apparent from the very first tee box that management doesn’t care about the condition of this course. First, you should bring a hammer to set your tees in the ground. Guaranteed you’ll break at least half a dozen trying to get them in the tee box. Second, be ready for your ball to be in some nasty divot or lying on solid dirt, in the middle of the fairway, making what should be an easy approach shot nearly impossible. Third, the flag placement will be in the only 4’ x 4’ section of grass on the greens which are 97% scabbed over.

In other words, save your money and go somewhere else where you’ll get a more realistic / better golf experience.

Fairways were more brown than green. The greens have brown spots, holes and pockets of sand (like small sand traps). If you are dying to play a round of golf, and cannot get on anyplace else, this MIGHT be okay.

The course was fun to play but it's in terrible condition. The fairways and greens are dried out and are some of the worst I've ever played.
