Mount Si Golf Course

About
Located in the scenic Snoqualmie Valley less than 40 minutes east of Seattle, Mount Si Golf Course is known for its beautiful natural setting and panoramic views. The origins of the course date back to 1930s. The course that stands today is the result of many years of updates and improvements, and has become one of the most popular public golf courses in the area. The player-friendly layout is forgiving enough for beginners with only a few sand bunkers in play but it's more challenging than the scorecard would lead you to believe. The par 4s play short and tight and the four par-5 holes are the course's most memorable. The rolling landscape provides challenging breaks and tricky pin-placements on the greens. There are some tough holes but Mount Si is not an overly formidable golf course.

Beautiful Mt Si.
This course has untapped potential. Unfortunately they don’t want to take better care of it. Holiday weekend so I expected some craziness with other golfers. It didn’t disappoint and the pace of play suffered.
Fair, not great
The mountain in the back drop was the nicest things about this course. Friendly staff, but the course was not well kept, the t boxes were full of unfilled divits, the grass was brown from insufficient watering and the the holes are to close to one another. You would regularly see people hitting one direction shoot wide and land in the neighboring fairway. This slowed play pace and made the overall experience sub par.
Great location, poor conditions, poor pace of play
The mountain views on a handful of the holes make the course worth checking out. However, the course conditions in August were not good and the grounds were very hard. What left a very bad impression was the pace of play - it the worst I've experienced in at least a decade. We were backed up every hole and finished the front 9 in 3 hours. We were on pace for a slower back nine and left on hole 15 instead. I hope we caught them on a bad day.
Good round spoiled by slow play
First time playing this course in nearly 15 years. Course was in good condition with the greens being particularly nice. Weather was nice, views from the fairways of Mount Si were fantastic. The problem was very, very slow play. Two times on the front nine we arrived at at tee box to have two groups in front of us waiting to hit. We waited on every hole on the front to tee off, sometimes more than ten minutes. Paced improved on the back, but I think that that was more due to people giving up at the turn. There was no marshal on the course, so we had no idea what caused the delay or any hope that the pace would accelerate. Five and 1/2 hour round ruined what otherwise could have been a terrific day.
Great Value
This course is a hidden gem. Pace of play can be slow, however if you lean into that being part of the experience you will have a great round. Some challenging holes but course in great shape including the greens. Staff and setting are exceptional.
Pace/need sand on cart for divots
Pace of play is slow. Could use Marshall to speed up play. And Fairway needs repair. It could help if they are sands to repair divots.
Great course, friendly staff and great price.
Awesome, will play again when back in area. Thanks
