Twin Rivers Golf Course in Fall City, Wash. is located just 30 minutes outside of Seattle and offers one of the best values in the area. The player-friendly layout is a relatively short par 70 at just over 6,000 yards from the back tees. The course is ideal for beginners since the elevation changes aren't dramatic and the landscape is fairly open. You will still find challenges throughout the course though including strategically placed sand traps and the occasional water hazard. The tree-lined fairways are generous but the small greens require accuracy. The seventh is arguably the most challenging hole. This long par 4 plays into the wind with a green that slopes from left to right. Twin Rivers Golf Course finishes with a tough par 3 that features a multi-level green that makes putting quite the challenge.

Great golf.
My 11:00 round began under very cold, foggy conditions that surrendered a beautiful, warmer sunny afternoon. the condition of Twin Rivers was good, considering the amount of rain that fell last week. There were some fallen leaves in the rough, but none on the fairways. Zero leaves on the greens, that were playing pretty slow. Maintenance was out there mowing while I was playing, so the fairways were playing nicely. Overall, it was a great day of Golf!

Great golf course...
Narrow fairways make you straight off the tee, hook or fade too much & you can get in trouble. Some water, bunker hazards, strategically placed trees and crowned rolling greens all provide interesting challenges. This golf course is tougher than it looks. Some short par threes, but I pulled out my driver most of the day. 65 years old, I played from the Red & shot an 84...and had a wonderful time.
