Lake Cushman Golf Course is perched on the Olympic Mountain above Hoodsport. The course runs alongside the Hood Canal, a location that is abundant in wildlife and where golfers will enjoy fresh mountain air. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills scattered with mature trees. You can choose between playing nine holes or playing the different back tees for a full 18-hole round. It's an easily walkable layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's a golf course where low handicappers can work on their skills in a no-pressure environment and high handicappers will be put to the test. The scenic setting is worth playing a round at Lake Cushman G.C. regardless of skill level. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice facility with a wide-open driving range and a putting green with a bunker.

Lake cushman
Course is in great shape. It’s a nine hole 2 tee course. First nine we played was way 2 slow. Second nine was better. But 3.5 hours for this course was 1:2 hour 2 long . Weather was fantastic so it made the wait a little better. Great value
Cold Play
Cold day and a result a frost delay of 45 minutes which was not bad. Still finished in less than 3 hours. Only knock is because of reworking tee boxes mats are used on several tees. Course is in great shape and worth the drive
Best 9 Hole Track In WA!
We played there today just 2 days after a huge wind storm and the course was amazing! The grounds crew had all the debris blown off to the side and ready for play. This isn't a busy course given its remote location, but to see a staff care so much about the property to have it ready for golfers is first class! The greens are incredible here and it has enough variety that playing the 9 holes twice, two different tees, makes it fun and different.

The course is just enough of a challenge to be fun for anyone. We have played Cushman many times with family and friends and everyone always says they would like to play it again. We have never felt pressured here. There are deer on the course often. It is a nice winter course.
Really Nice Course in the Olympic Mountains
We were camping at Potlatch and got a Hot Deal on a windy and possible rainy day. The course was wet but the grooming of the course was very nice. Since we played on a Friday morning, the pace was great. We recommend this course and look forward to playing it again. The greens were not too fast but putting was true. Beautiful setting in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains. We each had a split of wine for very low prices. They only have a Johnny on the Spot for toilet facilities. The golf cart was excellent but no GPS.

Course is in good shape for the time of year.
Not much roll because of wet grass but greens were fast and challenging.
New Friends
We have played Cushman several times. We like that there are very few sand traps but the course is still a challenge. We invited new friends to play with us and they want to play again. I have nothing negative to say about this course.

Fun course. Only 9 holes, but great variety in tee's for both rounds making it different. Amazing greens!

Super friendly atmosphere!
In these days of daily negative news, it was so refreshing to meet the friendly staff and get to golf in such a pretty course.
Yes it was a bit dry in the rough but that didn’t bother me a bit since Palm Springs has the same on a lot of courses!
Even though it was backed up, following a tournament, no one was in a rush or push or even snarky! So nice to be around such a happy “Chill” bunch of players!!!
The cart was newer looking & immaculate with a note that said it had been cleaned to be even more assuring during C19.
They were so awesome allowing my 80 yr old mom to hang out with me as my scorekeeper as was her 1st time ever in a golf cart or on a course.
