Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation I & III Course

About
Located in Allyn just 45 minutes west of Tacoma, LakeLand Village surrounds Anderson Lake with Mt. Rainier providing a backdrop to the south. The community includes three beaches and a 27-hole golf course. The course is divided into three nines known as Generation I, II, and III, which are played in different 18-hole combinations. Gen I and III combines the oldest and newest nines. The former is shorter and tighter, while the longer back nine has more undulation on the greens and strategically placed bunkers. There are several challenging holes that feature narrow fairways framed by out-of-bounds, and water hazards come into play as well. The golf course is nicely balanced with more player-friendly features, making it a good option for players of all skill levels.

Excellent day for a game of golf
The course is in great shape and I enjoyed playing Lakeland Village Golf Course. The course was quite crowded which was unusual . Highly recommend giving it a try if you’ve never played there.
27 holes of fun at a snails pace
Lakeland is a beautiful course, needed a lot of work this time, slow, slow, Slow… schedule was terrible!!!
Great Course
It was sunny, so we got 18 in. It snowed the day before, so the course was wet.

Not so good for the day.
My son was suppose to play but was sick and it turn out not to be a good value. They could not help me because it was a Golf Now arrangement. I seldom play by myself but it did work out. I am 75 years old but the course was empty so the pace was my own. Hardly saw another person. It was cart path only which is a little difficult for me. Other than the extra walking It was good.
Well Maintained, Difficult for Some Greens
It is a cold day but sunny at the Lakeland golf course. Some places are still showing frost at the Tee and Greens but playable. It is a bit challenging for me as a beginner since some paths are narrow while some greens are steep. Without good practice, the greens can be very hard.
Hidden Gem
Truly a hidden gem in Washington!! Great layout walkable, and affordable!!
Hello Lee. Thank you for reviewing the course. We apologize for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve. Thank you for playing Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation I & II Course. We hope to see you again soon.
