This course is great because it close .
Enjoy playing this course more so in nice weather because it's rather muddy in rainy weather. Good easy course for beginners to expert.
Greens were sanded:
We didn't know this before hand, so putting was tough. We will play again in a few weeks!
Very nice course for the money.
While not a hard course, it is very enjoyable and a good place to work on your game.
Short and fun
I have not played here for about 25 years so I was looking forward to see how the course has changed.
The clubhouse is impressive and the pro shop is well stocked. The course is short and fun with but tight driving in places as the trees have grown over the years. Keep the ball in the fairway and you will have a good round. I had 3 doubles and still shot 79
foster is in great shape
the course is in great shape, a little soggy, but when you get a record rain fall for the few days before we went it is amazing there was not more water on the course. The staff is as friendly as can be too!!!
Nice mature course
I played on a cloudy Monday. temp in the low 40s. 4 people on the course maybe during my round. Not much roll as the fairways were soaked. Especially bad on holes 13-14. The greens were in great shape. Got a burger at the turn which was gone by reaching the 10th green.I realized at home I left my 56 mizuno sw on the 17 th green and staff left me a message to come get it the next day. All in all a great round!
Pretty easy course.
Course was a little muddy at parts, but overall in pretty good condition given the recent rains and not a problem playing winter rules - had a few balls plug. Went out on a November Saturday and it was wide open. Course sets up for low scores.
Very fun and easy course for beginners
I really like this course because they always have deals on Golf Now, and it's great for someone who is new to the game.
fun for the money
Great municipal course for the money, would play again.Saff was friendly and helpful
Great iron play course
Even though the greens had just been punched and sanded we had a good outing. The course was in remarkably good shape considering the amount of rain in the previous days.
A beautiful oasis in a busy area of town.
The course is mostly flat with lots of trees lining the sometimes narrow fairways. I loved the river that flows around and through the course. Saw two bald eagles flying around as well. The holes are pretty straight forward and some of the par 4's are on the short side. If you can hit the ball straight you'll have no trouble here. If you slice and hook the ball it could be a tough round. The beauty of the course will make you feel better though,
Great value, nice course
Foster is a well maintained course that includes a nice pro shop and nice restaurant. The fairways are cut nicely, greens are in pretty good condition, and the rough isn't overly long. The carts provided are nice, not old/cheap. The course isn't very long, but the fairways are narrow, and typically lined with trees. The course is not overly challenging but provides its challenging holes and elements. Definitely recommend this course to all of my friends!
The course was in great shape. The only drawback was the greens were aerated. I knew this prior to play. I like the location and convience.
The course was in great shape. Location convience is a plus
Great Value
This is a great short course, with HUGE bang for the buck. It's perfect for the golfer who doesn't hit so long off the tee, but it's still challenging and has some unforgiving areas. A couple of the greens are drive able as par 4s, and it got me my first eagle.
The staff was very nice, I booked on my phone and showed up 30 minutes later. They allowed me on without printing the receipt, just showed my phone to them.
Definitely recommended.
Tight fairways, but very playable without any bad ground.
Fairways and greens were in great condition. Short course but tight with unforgiving trees. They do not allow the passage of golf balls. A feature that I liked is no houses along the fairways.
very forgiving, short and straight.
great for beginners and for those who want to practice short approaches. after retirement i have started playing on a regular bases and foster is a great place to kickstart a game I once loved. i'm in my mid 60's and don't hit it as long as i use to - love the course. lots of ladies come here, perhaps for similar reasons.

Course was in great shape!
The course was in great shape, the greens were fantastic. The pace of play was a little slow, but that was due to some beginners two groups in front of us. Overall, great experience.
Great short course.
Love this course. Well maintained and great for preparing for a round at a standard length course.
Great municipal course
We got a good deal on this and went without much expectations, just to be happily surprised. Nice club house with a well stocked pro shop, well maintained course and everything looking ship-shape.
The course itself is easy- on the first nine holes, short fairways pretty much go up and down with trees in between and the Duwamish River snaking alongside. For a public course on a Saturday the speed was good, many people left after the first nine.
It was a nice, relaxing and fun outing and we will definitely be back.
Ego boosting course
Drive-able par 4s for the long hitters. Not nearly as much goose droppings as in the past. Would be nice it the beverage car came around entire course beside intersection of holes 2, 3, 4, 5 and 9 near club house. Also, if you are using the Golf Buddy Platinum, the front and back nine are flipped. Golf Buddy out of the box was not updated with course change.
