Apple Tree Golf Course

Outstanding course in great condition -- we had our run of the course on a weekday afternoon. With a golf-now hot deal, this was a great value. At 'retail', it's on the high end ($50+ weekday).
The course is in great shape, carts are new, greens well kept, and fairways green and lush. An excellent course with the signature "Apple" green on #17!

Apple blossoms are out. Grass is green, Greens are a little sandy still, but the course played well. I thoroughly enjoyed the day, although the apple island played 104 yards and that 's not much of a challenge.

I was expecting a great day of golf. What I received was sandy greens, aerated fairways, and we had to play the front nine holes twice. We didn't even get to hit to the signature 17th hole. We should have took our money elsewhere.

First time playing this course. Won't be the last. Really enjoyed the challenging water hole on #17. Great experience all around. The bunkers are to be avoided at all cost. Most feel like playing out of gravel. That is the one improvement that would kick this course up to 5 stars for me.

Course was beautiful, with vista throughout. Challenging play and lots of obstacles to navigate. Only negative was the actual golf cart, of which we had to go through three separate ones. We heard from the other two that joined us that new ones were to arrive in a few days and they were trying to get buy on the last leg of the current carts. Otherwise, it was a great experience and I would certainly recommend the course to friends and family.

I go to Apple Tree every chance i get. Its a gret course to challenge your game in ever aspect. One thing i would like to see is, fully charged carts. Third time i had to change carts in the middle of my round because one it was dying onme or it did. But over all i enjoy going to Apple Tree and will continue going.

Great golf course and very tough to play in the wind. I have played it at least 20 times and always find the water somewhere on the course. 11 holes have water that comes into play on holes. Early round this year so greens are still a little bumpy. The apple tee box, #17, was way up so an easy shot. Must play at all cost. I wanted some chips at the turn and they had closed the grill at 3pm. Kind of early. Lesson learned.

very hard for me because i dont have alot distance

The staff and course were great . The carts on the other hand were terrible ,had to change carts three times to make it 18

As always AppleTree is such a fantastic layout but it's the little things they miss. How hard is it to have some rake bunkers in the AM so they're not crusty and hard? Things are getting better and I'm sure the new head pro is doing all he can but they always seem to miss something. And a $6 hot dog at the turn...this isn't Vegas I live here. It was great...but all I really need is something cheap and quick to keep me going a $10 turn with soda (no chips) and I'll be bringing my own food in the future.

Tough course from all the tees. Would not recommend for anyone over a 25.

Like everybody else, I came to Apple Tree looking to conquer its apple-shaped island green. I did that - my tee shot barely found land - by two-putting for par.
The pleasant surprise came much earlier in the round as I played one good hole after another. Apple Tree is a complete golf course. The back nine does lose a little bit when it crosses the road and wanders through a subdivision. But all 12 holes on the same side of the road as the clubhouse - the front nine and the three closers - feature nice elevation changes and interesting challenges. I'd say it's definitely worth the effort to find in central Washington state.

Booked this through GolfNow on my phone. HAD THE WRONG DAY, BUT THEY HONORED IT ANYWAY. Thank YOU! Was a Hot Deal but they treated us as if we paid full price. The layout of this course is SO COOL. Through orchards, up and down hills, one hole is on an ISLAND shaped like an APPLE! Super fun. The condition was great although we played on a day that was windy, rainy and COLD, the balls still had roll and the greens were very efficient. LOVE this place!

fAIRWAYS AND GREENS IN GREAT SHAPE! ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE SAND IN MOST OF THE BUNKERS...ALMOST LIKE CONCRETE, BUT COULD SEE THAT THEY ARE ADDING SAND TO SOME OF THE BUNKERS AND WILL PROBABLY BRING REST UP TO SPEED IN NEAR FUTURE....

Perhaps on a weekday pace of play would be a bit faster...having to wait on every hole because those in front think the green must be cleared before they can tee off is more than frustrating. The only good thing was the "Hot Deal" we got from GolfNow.com!!

The Golfnow price was incredible. Thank you! The course was wonderful. Full of surprises. Bunkers just where your ball should likely land. Water everywhere. Almost would make moving to Yakima worthwhile! Rod was great in the pro shop (got us out early) and the food was surprisingly good and inexpensive. Go to Apple Tree with a few extra balls....

Great pace on the front nine was reduced a lot on the back nine. But great layout made up for it. Apple green on the 17th is challenging but fair. This is also the picture hole. The apple is all over the course.
