Apple Tree Golf Course

I have played this course many times before but its value is not there without some kind of discount. I can think of about 10 courses around Portland OR that cost the same or less that are a much better golfing experience. The only real problem I ran into,other than other golfers not sticking to dress code and not being held accountable, was the bunkers being very rocky. The bunker sand looked like it was mixed pea gravel. Maybe that was intentional but I find it ridiculous for what the standard daily fee is. If you are looking for a good value in Yakima and not the novelty of playing the 17th hole then play Suntides. I went to High School with the original course pro at Apple Tree and even he doesn't feel there is any real value there.

this is definately a must play course. sometimes challenging but also very rewarding if you're striking the ball at least somewhat decent.

Must play for all Washington visitors One of the most diverse courses.. The holes are very different in style and difficulty.. A lot of elevation changes.. Not easy to walk...

more three putts than I wanted, but that's my game on that quality of a golf course. great time with great friends on great holes. thank you to all that made this possible at that price

Great course. Play was fast for the amount of golfers. The staff is very nice and helpful. They need more sand in the traps.

Everyone that loves golf should play this course. Would love to play again.

Beautiful course, long with many water features. I play here at least 6 times a summer.

We play at Apple Tree several times a year and we love this course! Beautifully maintained and very challenging, yet forgiving. The water features are beautifully designed and the 17th hole is one you will not forget! The staff are friendly and helpful and the Apple Tree Grill is a great place to have dinner even if you're not golfing. Highly recommend!

I really like the course and will play it again soon. I did take my son who is a beginner and it was a little to difficult for him.

This is one of Eastern Washington's most beautiful golf courses. The apple hole is always great to play and is my favorite.
This course is especially beautiful in the spring and when the apples are on the trees in early fall.
The golf staff is very friendly and the food there is very good.
Once you play this course you will be back!

Played on a mon. afternoon and had the course to myself.Very friendly staff.

The greens were fast and the hole locations very challenging. well worth the $.

The course was in great shape- ready for the spring two ball. Had a great time, we were matched up with a couple from tri cities who signed up tee time on golf now. Very nice people, weather was a little cool, but the great condition of the course and the company we were with made up for it. Play soon- going to sand greens in a week or two.

I finally made the time to play Apple Tree, many of my golf peers had said the course is over rated.. I disagree STRONGLY
I had fun playing it, & it was very easy to find your way around the course.. Not a real fan of the 2nd hole.. But other 17 are well designed & can really punish a poor shot.. Driving accuracy is key.. Find the center of the fairway & you will be rewarded..
1st time playing.. I shot 76, with 2 missed short putts..

I have played most of the courses in Central Washington and Appletree is the best. Canyon Lakes and Moses Point would be second in my opinion.

There were some great holes and we want to come back when the apple trees are blooming.

I played on 3/1/13 and this is early in the season for this course . There are challenging hole's and there are some that let you feel comfortable. Really a fun course to play.

Excellent course. Water on numerous holes adds to challenge. One of the best maintained courses I've ever played.

Course has very big greens which are in great condition especially compared to other courses in the area. They roll very smooth and true. Never a flat lie in the fairway mixed with Yakima's usual breeze makes for a fun challenge!

I invited 7 friends to travel to Yakima to play this course. Aside from the terrific value, we all had a great time on a well kept course in spectacular weather. Don't forget your camera, and plenty of balls. I'm not referring to courage here.
