Ok Course
Dissapointed they didn't have the tee box markers up. Leaves could have been better mowed on the front. The back 9 was great!
This course is worth checking out
Course was in good shape. The colors are exceptional this time of year. One complaint I have the cart paths are extremely bumpy and tend to be very uncomfortable. Other than that great course,well groomed
Great Value
It's a relatively easy course not many water hazards. It opens up on the back nine. Greens and fairways need a little work.
A fun course, worth the drive, and money.
Had a good time, would, and did play it again.

First time out 2016
I used to live in Brodhead, so we've played Decatur Lake quite a bit. The course was in very nice condition. We only counted 2 ball washers however, guessing they've had cold nights?
I'd say the course is fairly easy but watch out on hole 2. A tee shot drifting leftward will put you in the wooded rough. Alot of branches & leaves on the ground makes finding the ball difficult, not to mention having to burn a stroke chipping out of there!
Decatur Lake
Not a lot of travel from Madison to this locale but I doubt that I will make this journey again. Fairways were real rough. Greens were OK. There were occasions when it was difficult to determine where the pins were, mostly because this was my first time there. Although there were some challenging holes, particularly those that were surrounded by water, there appeared to be an actual theme for this course.
This course sucks
This course is in desperate needs of a flood ground is yellow hard as a rock you can barely tell if your in fairway or rough! The pace of play was terrible there were 5 and 6 some on course of all skill levels. The staff was nice and the greens were pretty nice little slow and soft though

Nice local course
Course was nice. Old 9 and a new 9. Old 9 had lots of mature trees. New 9 was pretty open. A nice course.
Staff was very friendly offering a few tips on a few holes when we checked in.
Pace was a little slow as it was a nice day on a Sunday and there were quite a variety of skill levels on the course.
But I would definitely play the course again.
