Pleasant find
Located just outside the home of “Spotted Cow”, the course is an understated routing. #1 & #10 play off the top of a crest and #9 & #18 back up, but the majority of the courses sits on a flat plain. Greens were in very good condition with the back nine greens having more ripples in them, making them a bit more interesting. Bunkers were the best we played during two week trip. Back nine fairways were more spotty than the front 9.
No outstanding holes, but no weak ones either. Hole 1 is a fun opening hole, a dogleg left par 4 that plays downhill for the tee shot and sets up well for an opening par. Par 5s and most par 4s are. doglegs that require hitting the correct side of the fairway off the tee to set up the easy angle for the 2nd shot. Par 3 are mostly on the longer side.
