Hidden Greens North

Lets start with the ranger was very bad person didn't know anything about golf and what it means to play gold with people who are PGA golfers. Starting off wouldn't let us play with 6 people was told not going to happen. When we made tee time nothing was said about this. Then has we were getting ready there was a group of four in front of us the ranger told them you brought two girls to his golf course on the busiest day. There were less cars in the parking lot when we were done. The ranger made it so bad to golf and was making fun of the girls in the group saying they can't hit the ball. While riding right behind us. This guy needs to go before i ever go back. I have played golf courses that cost 150 for 18 holes and i have never been treated like this. This isn't a PGA golf course people go for fun and all you did was ruined it.

This is the 2nd time I've played this course. While it may not be as nice as courses in Superior or Hayward, the location is good if you're halfway between.

At 5788yds total from the white tees, it seems like a short course; all of the par 5s are less than 470yds and only one of the par 3s are more than 150yds. There are no par 4s longer than 375yds. I might try the blue tees next time I play there.

Most of the fairways were in good shape, but I was really impressed with the quality of the greens. My round was early in the morning so my putts on the front 9 were quite slow but once the course dried out, it got a little quicker (if you want to see REALLY slow greens, play at Forest Point).

Be careful to not use too much club on some of the short dog-leg holes. There's only one major water hazard to carry. I may be wrong, but I don't remember seeing a single bunker on the course, which I love.

Overall I like the course but the price is a little high for what it is. If you're staying near Gordon or Solon Springs, the location is convenient. Otherwise I'd recommend going to Superior or Hayward.

We have enjoyed playing this course early mornings and the staff and the conditions are always very up to par.

Krysta, the course manager is very friendly and it shows that she cares about the course and the conditions in the clubhouse and all the amenities. When we left on Saturday morning I was amazingly impressed as I saw a lady out tending to the flowers around the clubhouse when we left. That really shows the care and attention to detail.

I play here several times per year. The course is always in good shape and the staff is always super nice. Several of the holes are very unique and all of the greens are always in great shape. I would 100% recommend this course.

Course was phenomenal. My only complaint is that the greens were incredibly slow compared to nemadji, two harbors, enger, and Virginia. Otherwise we had a great time.

Very good condition. The only real complaint is that the cups didn't look like they had been changed for many days and the greens were a little slow.

Hidden greens is truly a gem! Wonderful staff, great hole layout, and terrific greens! We have had very little rain this year and it is showing in the rough. The carts and cart paths could use an upgrade but that’s hardly a reason to not play this super fun course. Better be accurate off the tee or be prepared to take your medicine. The trees will prove to be a real pain in buns if you find them.
