Always fun
The course was in pretty good condition but a few of the trees were forward due to maintenance work. Still fun, still had some challenges and always enjoyable. It's a great value for the course you get to play. The layout was updated from several years ago to address pace of play but I think it could be rerouted slightly to add challens to the front by incorporating 3 of the back 9 holes to the front and vice versa but that's just my opinion and not a knock on the course.
Rain
Lost over $200 (booked for 4 players) on Golf Now. Not able to play due to rain.
Called Golf Now and was told too late for a refund. This was totally wrong on Golf Now. .
Pace again
Slow pace. 5 and 6 player groups allowed. No ranger.this seems to be normal here and frustrating. Restaurant usually closed till 4 pm so lunch at the turn doesn't exist
Trashy and unhelpful
Unfortunately, this golf course made a bad mistake hosting theives and pedo protectors. There are fascist turds on the ground, alcoholic beverages full of white supremacy and a willingly ignorant mind set toward the new political regime being set up.
Stop supporting them.
Course is in solid shape
The course was in great condition today. My golf game was not. Tee boxes are pretty beat up, but that's the only complaint I could think of.
Fun track in great shape
The course was in great shape as usual. They have done a lot of work over the past year and did a great job of resolving the soggy fairway issues on 10, 12, and 13. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a fun place to play that offers a combination of grip it and rip it holes and shot placement holes. Greens were in excellent shape and rolling quick and true. If you are in the area and looking for a moderately priced course that is in good shape, that is fair yet will challenge you, give The Ridges a go.
Horrible pace of play!
Saturday afternoon wedding party foursome scrambles (6 foursomes) is just wrong. No marshall. Too many areas where you can't drive the cart on fairways or close to greens. That slows the pace even more. 5 hour round. The management just does not care. Biting flies and bees are numerous.
Solid coarse
All good, fun coarse, fair price, and everyone was good to be around!
Good solid course
When I was younger I wasn't a fan of this course. As the years go by it's becoming one of my favorites in the area. Front nine is your typical open central Wisconsin 9. The back 9 is where the course gets scenic and tougher. I recommend giving this course a shot.
Not a Big Fan
Ridges isn’t a bad course. Just not a fan of this and others like it (WI River and Indianhead to name a few). Normal length and layout for front 9…back 9 someone said “let’s stuff 9 more holes into this place on 1/2 the acreage of the front. So you have 3 90 degree doglegs, less than 100y Par 3, short 4’s and 5’s All for the sake of 18 holes. I never play weekends (last weekend round was probably in the 90’s) to avoid 5+ hour rounds. Finished this one in 4h 30m…better than I was expecting. Course in decent shape. They definitely need to step up their staking for hazards. Hit 3 absolutely pure amd perfect shots only to walk up amd see I was in or stance was in a hazard. Played this only cuz a Golf Now deal with cart on weekend was $37…usually $62 here (course not worth $62).
