Top 25 Most Improved U.S. Golf Courses(2020 #4)
Golfer Reviews
Convenient
It’s a good course to get some swings in. Greens are not good, but you can see they are trying to get them back to normal playing conditions. Course is good for beginners and locals to have a good time playing golf.
A Livingston 10
Considering it's one of two courses in the Denham area, and the other costs an arm and a leg to play, this is a great value. Work has clearly been done on the greens because they were consistent in their speed and almost all were entirely grass. I understand in the past the greens were little more than mounds of sand. This is no longer the case.
Understanding that you're playing somewhere that charges $25 for 18 holes and a cart, this is a great little course.
Only issue is the green and tee boxes are very close together, so watch out for people and golf balls when you're near a green/tee box.
Nice course
Greens needed some work but everything else was nice. All staff are very friendly. Course had a nice layout for a 9 hole setup. We will be back
Nice place, needs work
Very nice course and could be a hidden gem with some better greens and tee boxes. Decent layout for a 9 hole course, could use some additional signage to help guide you to the next tee in a couple places. All staff were very friendly and eager to assist.
Horrific
Greens were horrific.
Bunkers were horrific.
Tee boxes were horrific.
Horrific all around.
Disappointed
The layout is very generic. Very small turtleback hills of sand is how I would describe the greens. 9 is in the best shape. They have managed the course better in years past, but the tee boxes and greens are in terrible shape overall. It’s a cheap tract so expect to get full quickly, in fact you can add about 1hr total to your time because of this. Should probably be about $10 cheaper than what they charge. Will not be back for a while.
Home course and it's great
Love the course staff is friendly just gotta fix up the sandy greens
The course is nice and very playable. My only complaint is the putting greens need a lot of work. If that would be fixed, I’d give it a five star rating. The park needs to invest some time and money to have the putting greens more playable and nice. Overall, I always have a good time here!
Pines @ North Park 041823
Played this morning in cloudy conditions. Course has drained very well from heavy rain before sunrise 2 days ago. Carts were 90 degrees.
Greens were punched and top dressed about a week and a half ago which was much needed. Grass is beginning to fill in on the greens. Number 8 is still on a temp green but the normal green appears to be getting better and hope it reopens soon.
