City Park Golf Course

Course is in decent shape, greens are a bit rough in patches, but they roll well. Only real complaint is pace of play. They are cramming way too many golfers for such a short 9 hole course. 6 hour pace for a 4400 yard course is ridiculous.

The staff is chill and the course is good for the price. Also the location is wonderful and over all pretty good

Great way to babysit my two grandsons.2 (10 yrs. olds) They played really good for their golfing knowledge and skills.

Will be bringing them back soon as I get stuck babysitting them both again.

Pathetic pace of play. Very little marshall interaction with players. Very young players horsing around. No golf etiquette knowledge. A husband , his wife and small child on a cart while the dad plays golf. My son and I will not play here anymore. We will go father, pay more at better courses rather than continue at City Park. It is really a sad commentary. Enjoy your round of golf but play by the rules and respect the game and respect others. City Park should not be like Kiddie Care Golf Playland. Charge $75 per person for 18 hoes. And pay for real Marshalls, at least 2 every day, all day and enforce golf rules and regulations.

The course was good, great value for the price, and the day was going smoothly. That is, until the final hole turned into an action movie scene.

I had just walked up to the green to line up my putt when out of nowhere, a kid—maybe 10 years old—hopped into my golf cart. At first, I thought it had to be a joke or some kind of mix-up, maybe someone thinking it was their cart. But then, I caught a glimpse of his body language. This kid wasn’t confused—he was stealing it.

My heart dropped. In the cart were my golf clubs, my wallet, my car keys—everything. Before I had time to think, the kid floored it, taking off across the course.

Without hesitation, I grabbed my putter and sprinted after him. Picture this: me, running full speed past the clubhouse, weaving across fairways, yelling “HELP!” at the top of my lungs. Golfers stopped mid-swing to watch the chaos unfold.

I stayed close behind the cart for the entire 400-meter sprint, adrenaline fueling every step. Finally, the kid must’ve realized I wasn’t giving up, because he bailed on the cart and bolted across some nearby railway tracks.

Relieved but breathless, I retrieved the cart—with all my belongings thankfully still intact. Crisis averted, but what a story to end the day!

Moral of the tale? Always take your cart key with you and keep your valuables on your person. Trust me—you don’t want to experience a golf cart heist firsthand.

First time playing this course - Ranger hooked me up with two other golfers. Enjoyed the day.
