City Park Golf Course

I stated playing just 7 years ago. So, I discovered this course recently. It is only a 9-hole course, but you can use different tee boxes to change the round of 18. I love the many elevation changes and i hope they keep it as is. Baton Rouge save the Old Course.

Greens recently reworked and doing very well! Course is in great overall condition! Great scenic views! Shady and used a nice breeze! One of my favorite local courses!

Took my daughter to play this weekend. It was her first time playing and everyone was nice. I tried several times to talk guys into going ahead and playing through us because we would be slowing as she is learning. The greens and fairways are well cared for and the lay out is nice. Most of the holes are par 3s and that makes for a great place for a beginner to learn. I will definitely play this corse again. The price is great for the experience.

Everything was very enjoyable about this course. The City Of Baton Rouge should be thrown out of office for discussing closing this course. It is on the National Register Of Historic places and is nearly 100 years old No wonder Baton Rouge is a horrible place to live.

Course is in decent shape, greens are a bit rough in patches, but they roll well. Only real complaint is pace of play. They are cramming way too many golfers for such a short 9 hole course. 6 hour pace for a 4400 yard course is ridiculous.

The staff is chill and the course is good for the price. Also the location is wonderful and over all pretty good
