What an absolute disaster of a golf course. I’ve seen backyard greens in better shape than these. The fairways look like no one’s maintained them in months, and the cart paths? More like obstacle courses of cracks and potholes.

They tell you not to drive in certain areas—though good luck figuring out where those are—while members in their personal carts zoom around like it’s their private racetrack, even going right onto the greens. Not that it really matters, since the greens are already past saving. A group of four older “members” waddled their way around the course in front of me, refused to let a single play through, and somehow moved slower than the maintenance on this place.

And as if the course itself weren’t enough of a letdown, the lady at the food counter had the charm of a sand trap. By hole 14, I’d had it—I picked up my ball, shook my head, and drove straight out of there. Total waste of time and money. I wouldn’t come back here if they paid me to play, and I’d strongly recommend anyone who values their round go literally anywhere else.

Restricted areas are completely off and often times make no sense. Hole 11 has a bridge in the fairway that leads you straight in a restricted area. Have fun pushing the cart for a bit. Then you have people in their personal carts driving up anywhere they want. Cart path only holes, haha, not for them. Course conditions are bad because this place often floods. I would go to Pete brown before here ever again and I live 3 minutes away. 1/10 wouldn’t recommend.

Course is improving but still has things to address. Cart paths, a few tee boxes, and greens need work. Overall, the greens are terrible, costing several strokes over 18.

Worse course I've ever played on. Absolutely terrible greens. Construction going on with the workers taking loud behind the tee box and cutting across the Fairway right in front of you as you're teeing off. Most fairways are not cut and all the construction has left roots, sticks, and just dirt exposed. Please dont waste your money playing here.

This place is just an atrocity right now (7/2025). There is some course construction going on right now, which is okay but more than half of the greens are in awful condition, large craters filled with sand and dead spots all over the greens. Tee boxes are just about in the same conditions as the greens. The guy running the desk in the pro shop is as rude as they come. To be a public course you’d think they would enjoy people coming to play their course, but no everyone who walks in is an absolute burden to him. No people skills, just your typical old middle aged grumpy guy with nothing better to do with his time than run off paying customers. I payed $60 to play this course but it wasn’t worth more than $5 at best. You’d be better off putting on your local Krogers parking lot. Just an overall terrible experience and waste of money. Find another course close by (Castlewoods, Refuge, etc…) it’s worth paying a little more money than having to deal with these people and the poor course conditions.

I play weekly and the new owners began restoring this golf course in January of 2024. Since then, they tremendously improved the conditions of the course. Every day they are clearing out brush, cutting out trees, and doing normal winter schedule maintenance to the course. The new Superintendent from Reunion has the greens rolling fast and smooth. I'm excited to see all the results of the new irrigation system they are installing. The owners are also building a brand new clubhouse.

The Pro Shop is cool and has the latest equipment. They have a loyalty card to keep up with the rounds you play.

Overall they are widening and lengthening the course and clearing out more areas to enjoy the views of the reservoir.

The fairways and greens in very bad condition. For example, the 18th green had no grass and was all sand. The pace of play was slow.
