Great Course, Can’t wait to play again
Wish I lived closer as I really enjoyed this course. Favorite course in Jackson area since moving here 4 years ago.
Bay Pointe Golf Club and Resort
Course is in great shape. Greens rolled very smooth, true and relatively fast.. The greens had just been punched the day before. Fairways are also in great shape.
Please note that we have had no rain in the area for almost 40 days and the course is still in great shape. Firm but to be expected due to excessive heat and drought conditions in the area.
Looking forward to my next outing at Bay Pointe in just a couple of days.
Rehab Needed
Really enjoyed the layout of the course. Challenges you to use clubs besides the driver off the tee especially if you're a big hitter. The greens are all pretty small with some big slopes. Good speed on the greens. Could tell the course had some major flooding and was still in recovery mode. It'd be nice to play again when it is in its prime.
First day 2019
The weather was perfect and the golf course was in need of cleaning but it spring tomorrow so don’t expect to much!
Rain-out after 6 holes.
Staff was friendly, course was pretty nice, unfortunately it poured on us after 6 holes.

I had a great round of golf and I look forward to playing here again in the near future. Great staff.
Could be much better
They are repairing some cart paths as they were in bad shape due to roots, yazoo clay breaking them up.The area is beautiful with water on many holes. Greens were in very good condition. The fairways were cut short...you could putt on them. The tee boxes need help. There are a lot of trees/roots/pinestraw to deal with so hit it straight. Only a couple holes have sand but water hazards are everywhere.
Course was in great condition, and every staff member that I had contact with was very helpful with anything I asked. I didn’t think the course was overly tight but you had to really pay attention to what you were doing, you couldn’t just boom away. We didn’t use the grill so I have no comment about it. I definitely enjoyed the day and will play it again.
