Bang for your buck!
Let me start off by saying that I'm not a serious golfer, but one who enjoys to play a couple of times a year, and I I was pleasantly surprised by the value of this course. I could tell it was an older course. Still, it had its challenges and character. Cons: The cart path was not good, and much of the perimeter of the holes could use some TLC. Also, the greens could have been a little softer. That being said, I found the greens to be fairly decent (rolled true), as well as the most of the tee boxes and fairways. The staff was friendly. And for the price I paid around $20 on GN for 18 holes with a cart- I can't complain. I would play it again. In my opinion, would be great course for a beginner golfer who want to develop their game without breaking the bank.
You get what you pay for
This is very much a budget course. The fairways were covered in leaves and looked like they hadn't been raked or clipped in a little while, and the greens were pretty spotty. The tee boxes aren't marked so you're really just guessing where to hit from. The layout is pretty confusing with not much of the course being marked off. There is a nice driving range that's covered and has mats to hit from in case of rain, but the putting and chipping areas could for sure use work. For $20 a person for a round it is worth it, but if you're looking for a nice course to really enhance your play this isn't one I would go to.
Come to Love the Game
Great Beginners course. Course conditions are getting better, Get ya group and go enjoy a hidden gem.
Good public course
The greens on the front nine need work, but overall it is a good place to play.
It's just golf.
We reserved our tee time online but when we got to the course there was a tournament scheduled so we had to cut our round to 9 holes.
The conditions were not good but the weather has been super hot and dry all season so, ok.
Easy to play and inexpensive so we will return.
Greens need Wirk!!!
Course in good shape, however, The Greens are bumpy and need cutting and rolling!
Oldest course, surprising star!
Seems without formal irrigation, and burning heat, the greens are coming back from aeration, the fairways are better than expected..the price is unbeatable. I'm truly impressed.
