Great course
Excellent course for the money a little beat up by the weather
Florence golf links
We loved the golf course, well maintained but no restaurant because ofCovid
Awesome course
Well designed and groomed. Professional staff. Can’t wait to go again!
A gem in my back yard
I’ve lived inFlorence for 8 years, but it was only in the last 9 months that I started playing this course, and only in the last 2 that I have walked it weekly , taking advantage of the twilight hours and the lack of crowds. I’ve managed 27 holes several times with a little daylight to spare. More often than not the course is wide open after 3pm or so, as many prefer not to contend with the prevailing windy conditions. However, late afternoon temps (June-Oct) are usually high 50’s to low 60’s - perfect for walking in shorts, and the wind is just something you get used to. Greens are always in good condition; portions of the fairways can be a little spotty and hard, but overall not bad. Staying in the short grass is vital, as the rough ranges from difficult to unplayable and eats mildly mis-hit balls like candy. Would like to see more easily identifiable yardage markers ((for those of us without range-finders), and hand carts could use a drink holder. Every hole on this course has a nice view, there’s plenty of wildlife, and walking it is a joy ( not to mention a decent workout). Most importantly it’s a great layout that’ll challenge the best golfers but still entertain the duffers.
Always great
From the start you get the best value on the Oregon coast. Price is good especially with the players’ pass; course is always in good shape; 3 1/2 hour rounds a norm. Only negative is that their restaurant closed with COVID and never reopened
Kerr
They take pride in their course with a decent practice range, good tee boxes and playable greens.
This is a beautiful clubhouse with so much wasted space. The restaurant and bar need to be open for business. With the golf rates being so high, it’s almost a joke that you don’t have a 19th hole for a drink or any food following your round of golf. Poor choice!
Florence
has a lot of character, tough rough, greens In great shape
It was challenging, traps on both sides. Wind is a factor when playing. Staff was very nice and helpful. Looking forward to playing there again
Always Different
This course really fools you. It can play completely different every day, depending on if there is wind or calm, whether your ball finds a nice lie or not, and whether your game is weak or strong. While some complain about poor fairway conditions, that's the nature of a coastal windy area I believe. If you don't like the lie then figure out how to play it differently. Love this course, always a challenge!
The good, the bad and the ugly!
This is a fun and interesting layout in a beautiful setting. The greens and bunkers were in good shape but the rest of the course needs help from burnout, disease or lack of maintenance. I played off dirt and dead grass in the fairways too many times - i love coastal-links golf in Oregon - I would rather the management put more focus on the course, where I spend 4-5 hrs, than a clubhouse where I spend 15 mins! I would recommend this course at $50 but not at $90. I hope one day they can bring this course back.
The nice course layout is unfortunately overshadowed by very poor conditions
Enjoyed the layout, although there were a couple holes where we actually said “haven’t we played this hole already?”…i.e. the look was exactly the same! Back nine had mostly a different look (more open links’ish with water in play too) and feel (WIND!!) from the front nine. The greens were generally in good shape and rolled really well. The sand was also very good condition and consistent around the course, at least in the few bunkers I managed to find. A big downside is the very poor condition of the rest of the course (fairways, tee boxes, rough, etc), it appears as if the grass is diseased as ‘grass’ seemed to be the minority of ground available pretty much everywhere.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your honest feedback. We apologize for the lack of variety in the layout and any confusion it may have caused. We appreciate your compliments on the greens and sand conditions. We will make sure to address the concerns regarding the rest of the course's condition.
Course needs help
This golf course is in terrible condition. Poor Tee boxes, fairways and greens. It is one of two courses in the area but the other one is worse if you c a n believe it.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the condition of our golf course. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
Beautiful link style Golf course
First time playing the course, overall I enjoyed the course. Pace is great, finished in just within 4 hours as a twosome group sharing a power cart. Green speed is slower, but green condition is great. My Tee time was 9am, and when we made the turn to the back 9, it was windy!
Hot Deal price is a value
The greens were good. Rugged landscape was a little shaggy but its links golf. Hot Deal made it a great deal. Fun and sunshine .
Big long and wide course Great variety
I really enjoy playing this course. Big long and wide course. Numerous water holes great staff.
We appreciate your feedback regarding our course and its setting. We apologize if your experience was not up to your expectations and we will take your comments about the course conditions into consideration. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
