Beautiful course. Longer than Executive.
We love this course. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are immaculate. Lots of trees ZERO sand! 2 par 5’s, 5 par 4’s and lots of par 3’s some quite long. Walkable but at 7000’ it will still take your breath away on a hot day. Stay hydrated. Great 19th hole indoors and out.
Dodging sprinklers
The golf pro in the shop was a bit put off by the fact that I got the deal of the day from golf now and charged me an extra $20 for my wife to ride along in my cart even though our group was a threesome i thought this was a bit petty ...This is a great course and it's always in excellent condition with the exception of the narrow Tee boxes which were set up by someone who obviously does not play golf there was barely enough room in between the tees to hit a ball and most were set up on very bad spots so you could not get a level lie also there were sprinklers running during live play on almost every hole and in the landing areas in the
Fairways often interfering with play. I used to be in the golf business and can clearly see that one of the pros in the shop needs to take a ride around the golf course now and again to just see what's going on that clearly is not happening .....overall the course is great but a little more supervision on setup would make it phenomenal Thanks
Fun course, price is too high
This is a fun course, no doubt. This is one of the few public courses in the area, and one of the only public course that is fully in the pines. It’s an exec course but it’s still challenging. Fairways, greens, rough are all excellent. All of the tee boxes are uneven. Blue tees are not available, locals say they rarely put them out. Overall it’s really fun. But $86 for an exec course is way too high. There is also an additional $20 cart fee.
Don’t be fooled by the length
Quite challenging. I play all but 2 of the par 3s with a driver! We played at 2 pm, but were comfortable with the breeze and shade
Top Notch Executive+ Course
Excellent conditions on May 23, 2026!
The greens are true and fast. The fairways are beautifully mowed.
It is an "executive plus" (that's my own made-up term), so be aware when booking. Mostly par 3s a couple 4s and a couple 5s.
I was pleasantly surprised at the pace of play. Get out early in the a.m. for best pace.
Hot deal
Only can afford this course when I get the hot deal. I do t like that each person has to pay a cart fee when your sharing a cart. Course isn't affordable even without the cart fee.
Hot deal
I can only afford to play here if I get a hot deal from groupon.
Wonderful
Love this course! Great condition. Challenging greens. Only down fall. They charge $18 per person, for golf cart. But, despite that I highly recommend this course it's a beautiful and fun course!
Wow! Mid October golf in paradise!
I treated my FIL to a round of golf at Pinetop Lakeside and we were astounded at the condition and scenery of this Executive course.
Beautiful course, excellent condition and the surrounding trees and homes were amazing. I encountered a few of the trees, to my dismay, yet had an enjoyable round despite a few bad shots.
Two points to mention. The greenfees listed are "walking" rates. Plan for an extra 18 dollars per person for a golf cart.
Second, the greens had been aerated (perhaps a few weeks ago) so they were a bit bumpy.
No cart included
Very surprised to learn at the course that the golf now rate was only green fees and the cart use would be extra. First course this was the case in many years with golf now. Felt like a rip off.
Course is beautiful
Course is emaculately kept. The greens are in
Great shape. Staff is always so friendly. Love this
Place.
Challenging Short Course
Pinetop Lakes Golf Club is a challenging short course always in excellent shape. No sand traps but many narrow fairways. Greens are fast and pretty difficult. Always enjoy playing this course.
Pretty courses; not easy
Had a great time., This course is not particularly long, but it can be challenging. Small, fast greens, but they hold a shot well. The course was in great shape, and our foursome played in slightly under 4 hrs. Well laid out through the Ponderosa pines. Overall, a fun experience
