Oak Knoll Country Club

Course was actually in great condition! New ownership is turning this place around. Fairways were fantastic, rough was nice and fluffy, defining line to separate fairway and rough. The only disappointing part was the greens and some of the tee boxes. A few tee boxes were amazing, and most greens were decent, except a few holes had some craters and sand in the greens. All in all tho, really great course for the money. Give them a couple months on the greens and I think this place will be amazing. Still a good deal though for $44 on a Saturday afternoon!

Course was busy but pace was steady. Great layout and very good course conditions.

This was my second time I played this course. The first time was 2 years ago. I travel from Nebraska to visit family and I am always looking for a course to play. This course was clean, well manicured and in great shape. The staff was helpful and seemed to really care about your experience. I know the next time I am in the area I will be golfing there.

I enjoyed the course, I just wish the greens were in better shape

The greens are in really bad condition. The greens fees are too high for this time of year.

Greens and tee boxes are as bad as I have ever seen them. There is a new golf pro that I’m praying turns this course around. I really think they need to close down for a couple of weeks as well as every Tuesday possibly to get things moving in the right direction. The course has so much potential, but putting through what seems like a sand trap with small patches of Bermuda isn’t ideal.

Took the boys and my wife for a round of golf.

Everyone was so friendly including the staff.

Pace of play was good some may complain it may have been a little slow but we were in no hurry.

We will play again and would recommend it to all

I’ve played this course many times. It’s the best I’ve seen the greens but they are still below average. Still lots of spots with no grass. Bunkers are in good shape. Most tee boxes were decent but some need help. Layout is challenging and all greens are elevated. For $56 on a weekend morning, even though it was Easter, and free range balls, carts pretty new…..value was average. Curse needs an active marshall. Group hitting multiple balls each off most tees.

The course was laid out fine. The greens were in awful condition. Sparse grass and in desperate need of being rolled. The greens were very small. Thus, maintaining them should have been much easier. There were large areas with no grass at all, on the putting surface. Very disappointed. I’ll never play there again.

The greens are solid dirt with patches of grass here and there. The ball hops the entire way to the hole. If you’re trying to keep a true score, it’s impossible. I’m not sure how they can justify charging $50-$60 with greens in that condition. $30 is all it’s worth at best. Will not be going back anytime soon. Rather pay the extra and go to Carter Plantation.

This course has greatly improved in the last couple of years. The greens were in great shape for this last round.
