About
Red Hawk Run Golf Club is an Arthur Hills design that is known to locals for being one of the toughest golf courses in northwest Ohio. Water is a prominent feature of the course with both Red Hawk Lake and Eagle Lake coming into play. There are also six holes that play across a meandering creek. In addition to the water, strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greensides. At more than 7,100 yards from the back tees, this demanding golf course is not for the faint of heart but there are five sets of tees total, which makes it more approachable for a wide range of skill levels. Besides the challenging layout, Red Hawk Run G.C. also boasts an impressive practice facility with an eight and a half-acre range that has both target greens and sand bunkers.

Worth the Drive
Drove 2hr from Cleveland and can't wait to play again.
Best course for the price I have played!
Very well maintained course and facilities. Fun and challenging layout with a good amount bunkers to challenge your shot making skills. Greens are large and very well conditioned for this time of year. I probably wouldn't recommend playing on a windy day as most of course is exposed and open. Staff was friendly and pace was perfect!
Around here, this is the course!
this course lets you feel like you're on the tour. Very challenging yet fun with fast large greens and semi soft bunkers, and curvy undulating fairways. For me, a must play a few times every year.
good course but,......
The greens were in very good shape, the fairways has excellent turf to hit off of. The bunkers were NOT playable. They were embarrassing actually. Weeds were very prevelant.
Best public course in OH?-I think not!
I'm not sure how these "best of" lists get generated but giving this course the #1 spot in OH gives Ohio public courses a bad name. Don't get me wrong, this is an above average public golf course but definitely not the best! I've played some of the other courses on the list (Virtues, Eagle Sticks, Heatherwoode) and they are all better that this course. This is a smaller course for an Arthur Hills design. The fairways are in good shape overall. The greens are average to slow. The price is good but it's in Findlay! Was not worth the 1-1/2 hour drive for me but if it were closer, I would recommend.

Quite a nice course. Fairly open course in great condition. Greens were a bit slow and could have been cut lower. Seemed like staff was protecting greens in early summer. Seems like the greens could be GREAT if cut properly
wow what a course
this is a fantastic course. i could play here all the time if i lived here. really makes you think about your shots. greens rolled fast and true. great layout. can say nothing bad about this one !!!! go play this awesome course if you get a chance.
Fantastic Golf !
This course is always in great shape , any time of year ! Great greens , tee boxes , traps -- well maintained . Beautiful lay out - one of my fav golf courses in OHIO or anywhere !
Following heavy rains, the course was extremely wet, and the 20-30mph winds disn't help any. First time out this year we were pushing the weather. We will return when the weather if more favorable.
Red Hawk is back in a big way
Course was in very good shape. Used to drive down from Toledo to play a couple times a summer. I will be down next summer more than a couple times now. Fun course to play. Difficult but fair. Manager was behind the counter and was a pleasure to speak with. A fellow Toledo guy.
