Sycamore Springs Golf Course has managed to stay one of Arlington's best-kept secrets since it first opened as a nine-hole course in 1958. The second nine wasn’t added until 1994. It's often considered an underrated course, but locals in the know will tell you it's one of the most challenging rounds you'll find in the area. The golf course has a traditional design that measures 6,681 yards. It would be a mistake to underestimate Sycamore Springs since there are a number of tricky doglegs that require some deft maneuvering and greens that play fast and true. The golf course is especially tough on windy days. There are a few ponds that come into play and a creek meanders through the course as well. Sycamore Springs G.C. also has a driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping green for golfers to use.

Great condition.
Only problem was when I purchased tee times I wasn’t told it was cart path only! Being 83 years old it was entirely to much walking for my age. Felt like laying down instead of playing golf after first nine holes.
Wonderful layout
Tree lined, challenging, greens are hard and fast.
Challenging course
This course is probably one of the nicest public courses in Northwest Ohio. I go there probably twice a year. Greens are in great shape and the bunkers are nicely manicured. The fairways are also in great shape! It would be rare to see clover or a stray dandelion in the fairways. With that said and to their credit, course management stays on top of things. That attention keeps the course at a quality better than average and is consistent. Thank you!
The course was in excellent condition even though it had rained that morning. Greens ran smooth and true and fairways were in fine shape.

This is one of my favorite courses in the area, and when you factor in the fact that I got a great deal on GolfNow, it was an incredible value.
Great course
My wife and I played on a Saturday afternoon and the course was quite busy but pace of play was good and slower groups let us play through. Some of the holes it was hard to tell the difference between fairway and rough but it’s also first part of season. Great value for the course.

Great Course. Can feel secluded other than the golf course itself! Not a house comes in play! Fast greens, in which I prefer! Great shape(they use a little paint for the greens;)

5 some “zero etiquette”
Course allowed a 5 some to play because they are board members and members. They of course would not allow the 2 some or anyone else to play through. What would have been a 3 hour round went well over 4+. Called clubhouse they would not do anything. While waiting we paired up with a 4 some behind us and played 2 man scramble for 1 hole. The course had no problem sending someone out and broke up our play after said hole. Very sad golfers beware, rules for thee but not for me at this course.
A fun find
I saw that this course was rated high in Ohio. I agree! It's a flat course with mature trees lining the holes. Some water comes into play. The greens were quick but fair. Would play again.
