Course was in fair condition

The pace of play was very slow

I was grouped with 2 others, but they sent me on ahead, only to run into groups that were playing like they were already dead.

Most of the golfers were Asian, and did not speak much English or pretended not to.

Also, I did not get my au jus for my sandwich.

I liked the course enough to return. I wasn't disappointed. It did seem there have been unusual winter conditions. Like maybe a drought followed by heavy rain. Had not checked the winter weather in this area.

But The course was very playable. Just need to keep it in the Fairway. Because otherwise you experience problems. A significant number of blind shots. If you are unaware of the roll you do not finish on the Fairway.

Maybe the club should offer a complimentary yardage booklet. With suggestions that address the blind shots.

This Singular issue aside, do not hesitate to play this course. Warm up will and prepare for the challenge.

This is a couese I play when I visit the area. I love the layoutand enjoy having to bench the driver sometimes due to how far the elevated tee shots travel.

This visit, the weather was just cold enough for us to have the course to ourselves.

I will be back the next time I am in the area.

New to the area, I asked where I should play. Those I asked responded Stillwater. This was the second round I played here. I thought the course was only in fair condition this round and the play slower than the last time. The pace of play could possibly been caused by Christmas vacations. For me it is a challenging layout; there are a number of blind shots. I used every club in the bag on each round.

One of the staff provided me with a sheet containing notes and hints for each hole. If you haven't played here make sure you ask for this, it certainly helped me.

Challenging and beautiful course in great shape even after a day of rain. Favorite course rn

I think a little expensive fee.

But,

I like because it's not crowded here.

The weather was fantastic and this wound up being a lot of fun to play. There is some elevation to this course. I was one of the first out in the morning so the pace of play was swift. Golf is always challenging to me so there can be no doubt that this course was a challenge for me. I would recommend this course to play. Look forward to returning in the near future.
