Very Good Livonia Muni

One of the better Mark Devries courses I have played. Layout is on a very flat piece of land, but does have character with several streams used quite strategicly throughout. The greens were rolling quite fast and in great shape. Pace of play can be bad at times but this is to be expected at a muni.

Love the course and staff. Big greens that are fun to 2-putt. And if the course is backed up maybe Hootch will have his guitar. Bunz lost his hitch here on 7 tee back in 2009. Lotta history.

Excellent Value, Gorgeous Wildlife, Quality Greens/Fairway

Really enjoyed playing this course. I played through rain and wind because I was enjoying myself so much. I saw a couple dozen deer (At least) and found some tranquility out in the wild. The course setup was really good considering the timing (rainy Spring) and the staff was very friendly. I can't wait to play here again!

Front nine very long and difficult, back nine short and easy. Does not drain water so if wet do not play this course.

Course should have been closed

On a day with cart path only and standing water in every single hole, this course should have been closed. Golf now needs to improve their service to alert tee times at courses with standing water and cart path only policy. Would have absolutely gone somewhere else. Zero chance I ever return to this course

Birdie Ball

This was My 1st time playing this course and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately it had been raining all week so the course was quite wet. It was cart path only so I could not look for the few balls that I did manage to lose. I look forward to playing this course again when the conditions are better it seems like it would be a great course to play in normal condition. As you can tell by the title I did manage to get one birdie for the day. Birdies are always good but it means a little bit more when it is your 1st time playing a course.
