Golfer Reviews
Can't wait to play again
My friend and I played this course for the first time on a bad weather day in winter. But I can tell this is going to be one of my favorite places to play! We only got to play the front nine, but the holes are set up beautifully. The winding cart path has lots of signage so you don't get lost. The tee boxes are well spaced out. The greens are challenging but large. And although it was winter and the grass dormant, we didn't lose balls outside of the hazards. Plus, I shot the best 9 of my life! We are definitely coming back in the spring, and can't wait to make it a habit!
I really enjoy playing Copper Mill
Really good place to play! Great layout, great condition, great staff. It has no driving range but it does have chipping and putting practice areas.
It’s quite a challenge.
Forget my rangefinder at the golf car
July-27-2021
Finish playing around with my buddy I left my magnetic V5 Bushnell range finder on the golf court pole around 7:55pm
We was the last one finished came in , I remember i returned clearly the golf course back to the cleaning station .
Paired with 3 other golfers on a Thursday senior day discount . No issues. Course in good shape and greens were in very good shape. Would play again.
Copper Mill
This was my third time playing this course and I am still of the opinion that it is one of the nicest places to play in Louisiana.
I am a “shirt and cap” guy so I was hoping for a good selection of gear in the pro shop but that has nothing to do with the condition, layout, great staff and professionalism that Copper Mill offers.
Slow play
Course in good shape. Greens were a bit shaggy. Layout is challenging and fun to play. Only issue I had was slow play. Think they may have tee times to close together as a lot of backed up play. Marshall could move play along a little faster. Would play here again as the layout and challenge outweighs the slow pace
Nice challenge
The course is in great shape. This was my second time playing it and it was a nice challenge. You have to bring your A game to score at Copper Mill but you will enjoy it even if you don’t.
