Golfer Reviews
Greens are terrible!
Love the course but the Greens are in terrible condition. Very frustrating watching the ball bounce and do a z pattern 3 foot from the hole. Would recommend to a friend because getting a tee time at beaver is almost impossible.
Greens need help
The last two rounds were a bit disappointing. The greens are pretty bad. Hopefully they will recover soon.
Horrible Greens For What You Charge
The greens were riddled with weeds and it was near impossible to make a putt without running over many bumps from weeds. Inexcusable at the rates charged. The layout is fun with 3 par fives, 3 par fours and 3 par threes on each side, but the back 9 had some very hard holes that are almost unreasonable for high handicaps. I'll return later in the year when the greens are repaired.
Terrible course
Greens were brown with weeds growing everywhere. Miserable to try and putt.
Lots of reasons to like this course, a few reasons I do not like it.
This course is a fun and challenging layout. I was terribly disappointed in the greens. They were bumpy with unwanted growth.
Greens have some issues
As a residential course, it's fine. For serious golfers, it is not. Greens have way too much weed, and that changes the putted ball's direction and speed (ball jumps). For a similar amount of money, I would go to Beaver Creek or Santa Maria.
It's unfortunate because other parts of the course are good.
Great day
Greens need a lot of work. Very poor condition. Love the course.
HAD TO WAIT FOR A CART AND SLOW PLAY DUE TO A THURSDAY COURSE SPECIAL. CLUMPS OF GRASS GROWING ON GREENS EFFECTING EVEN CLOSE PUTTS.
Mixed Feelings
The greens have been in horrible condition. They should discount their price when the greens are that bad. I am a single and paid for my cart but they required that I ride with another golfer who was paired with me. That didn’t seem to be right. I do like the course having 6 par 3s, 6 par 4s and 6 par 5s. I have had better experiences here than recently. I’d recommend CopperMill for a decent round later in the year.
Lay out is unique with 6 par 5s , 6 par 4s and 6 par 3s.
Course in decent condition for the time of year, greens need some work though.
No driving range
Get a driving range and make some money to fix your bad greens
Good But Not Great
This was my second time playing at Copper Mill Golf Course. It happened to be Seniors Day, a concept that I had not heard about, but truly loved. I especially appreciated the lunch that came with the round of golf. The availability of ice and water was much appreciated given the rather warm day.
It’s unfortunate that the facility does not have a driving range. Also, the greens were okay, but were not in the best of shape.
Greens way too small and bumpy !
Good day to relax . Greens very bumpy and very small make small targets to hit . Very busy golf course pace of play slow slow . Back 9 very difficult holes to play ! Guess difficult back nine layout makes the pace slow down even more , Plus with many par 3's makes pace of play slower . Patches of grass all over your putts go off course and bumpy ! Your putts hop all over ! Along with small greens makes it hard to par with Bumpy greens !
New to BR
Course had a nice lay out ibut greens were in horrible condition. Also no practice facility. Probably better in summer when greener
