Great course but rude check in person in pro shop
This course is absolutely the new gem of Louisiana!! Layout rivals any course I’ve played in Louisiana… Greens were fast and receptive and course conditions were great even with the hot conditions. GPS was very helpful!!! It’s a fun course if you play from appropriate tees!!
Only drawback for me was reception given by cashier in pro shop compared to greetings and interaction with other golfers just ahead of me.. he was downright rude but I didn’t let it affect me bc I joined up with 3 others on golf now and the starter was absolutely amazing in helping and giving tips on course b4 other guys arrived to tee off… kudos to starter for making it a pleasant experience for all whom he came across…he even shared history of course and the military base hx!!
Go play it- well worth money - I do plan to return - btw I am African American and appeared to be only one on course
Great course
Truly 1 of my favorite places to play. We were first out played 18 holes in 3 15 minutes. Greens were in great shape. Top notch course
Very enjoyable
It was my son-n-law’s first time to play the course. It was his birthday gift and we both had a very enjoyable day.
Really Great Golf Course
I enjoyed this course much more than expected. From the friendly staff when I walked in the clubhouse, all the way to the attendant at cart return, everything about this course was great. The greens were in better condition than the last 2 private clubs I played. Wonderful experience and I will definitely return if I'm ever in the area again. Highly recommend.

Oakwing
I’ve played this corse many times and really like it. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the fairways are tight, in my opinion, I’d like to see them cut them a little higher.
Great conditions and Fun Layout
This course is great shape and the layout is fun. Snag this on a “hot deal” and you won’t be disappointed. It’s a must play.
