Hickory Hill Country Club & Resort

About
Formerly known as Mississippi National Golf Club
Designer Earl Stone's vision of a traditional yet demanding test of golf comes to life at Hickory Hill Country Club. Water comes into play on 10 holes, demanding strict attention to shot placement and strategy.
The 6,983 yard, par-72 layout is scenic enough to put a player's mind at ease, while challenging enough for even the most expert golfers. A course rating of 73.1 and a slope of 128 has enabled Hickory Hill to host numerous high profile events.
The 18-hole semi-private golf course opened in 1965.

Horrible
Front nine was slow with walker in front of us which I can live with . However, we come around to start back nine and four carts pulled up saying they were ingalls golf league and they had back nine. Just two of us playing but they would not let us play through. Golf etiquette is DEAD! Called club house and they said we had to play front again. So Hickory will never get a dime from this avid golfer again. Shell landing is a far better venue for a few dollars more..
Solid Course, Great Pace, Fair Price
Golfed here multiple times, the only cons are a driving range that you cannot hit a driver on and the greens current condition are not great. The greens are a bit slow and sometimes even bumpy with visible sand in some spots. Other than that everything is wonderful and the holes are fun and some are down right challenging (Hole 2 for instance). Will play again and would reccomend
The New Hickory Hill Country and Resort
Hickory Hill Country Club and Resort has been under new ownership since Oct 2021 and has been remodeled and overhauled. The Pro Shop and Restaurant have been renovated and are beautiful and the course is in the best shape it has been in a very long time. The staff was outstanding, and I will play there again soon. .
The course is in poor shape not be maintained as it should be I hear the owners are not willing to spend money on it and it is up for sale
Great course
Champion ship course which would need some work. Love the layout. Staff friendly. Hard times right now. We will be back to support.
Winter play
Very wet, had to play clean and place. Even had trouble finding some balls due to plugging, but couldn't fault the course, had over ten inches of rain over the weeks prior to our game. Very nice staff and played under 3 1/2 hours.
Sub 4hr round
Nothing special about the course greens was a little slow. But round was only 3hrs and 15mins and my playing partner walked.
Nice Course. Challenging for the money. Lot of water hazards. Cart path is sketchy and definitely needs repair. Overall good place to play
Hickory Hills
Played the course twice this week in the 90 degree heat. Was better than I had expected. The greens were cut with grain lines that affected slower putts. Would play it again.
This course has no control over non golfers roaming the area
People fishing in pond on par 3 and would not move
Terrible day of Golf!!!
Not sure if is the responsibility of the Golf Course or Golf Now but we had a tee time to play and the course was having a Junior league tournament. The pace of play was ridiculous and to make matters worse it was very hot out. The overall conditions of the course was fair, fairways were rough in conditions with very short grass to sparse grass in places. Greens were slow.
Not a good day of Golf for a vacation.
Nice old course
Very nice older course. Fairways seemed huge, too bad I missed most of them. Greens we're good but were slow. Overall nice course loved the layout of it.
Hickory Hills is great
Really enjoyed this course. Greens were soft, not super fast greens. Very forgiving course for the most part.
