great fall mtn golf
love this course, played it numerous times and always the same
Scenic, well maintained course.
One of our favorite courses to play in Vermont. We love the ride to Hermitage and of course the condition of the golf course.
The signature par 5 on number 11 is always so much fun to play along with enjoying the panoramic views!
A must play if in the Vermont/ Mt Haystack area.
I have heard some poor reviews pertaining to this course back a couple of years ago. Since then, I have a retired friend who has lived on the course and since we play Mt Snow annually, he suggested a day at Hermitage. I found a great deal on Golf Now.
So upon arrival I noticed a simple country style club house. Staff was friendly and accepted the coupon/ res. with out comment or demeaning look. Set us up and got us off with out a hitch.
Now the course, Fairways are tree lined for over 75% but open on the inside of the course to find an arrant shot. Great visibility, able to see what is in front of you with few hidden landing areas. Fairways were cut down nicely, even tho there is hardly a flat stance to be found. Around the greens the fringes were cut evenly and the greens were fast, and rolled true. This is a challenging course for the 10 hcp and up... even the seasoned sigle digit will find this course full of challenges. I would recommend this course to all who are up around the rt 100 area of Vermont.... Play On....
Fantastic day
Very Very nice. fast greens nice fairways beautiful scenery..
the courses has great greens
it was a great course the fairways require a lot of attention but the greens were in amazing condition i had a great time with my son and daughter.
Hermitage
Course is in absolute great condition. Beautiful Vermont scenery and nice landscaping. It is a very challenging course.
We enjoy playing there a few times during the summer.
Best course I've played this year. The course is in great shape.
Course is in great shape and fast. Staff is friendly.
nice course
course is in great condition, challenging, and beautiful surroundings
Beautiful layout; quite scenic.
Dad can't wait to return in the fall! We will be back!
Beautiful scenery
The condition of the course was good with the exception of the greens. They had recently been plugged and were very sandy. Our bad luck. The view from the 10th hole looking down into the valley with the foliage and the church steeples rising above the trees was spectacular.
Haystack is a diamond in the rough !!!
The course is in wondeful shape with the drainage working good, so no more mud. The staff is friendly, including at the grille/patio. A good course to start a VT golf trip.
