Stratton Mountain Golf Course
Very good conditions, except that some other players haven’t repaired ball marks. Excellent views of Stratton Mountain and the lake. We were lucky to have excellent weather.
Nice!!
We played 2 rounds so we were able to see all 27 holes! Day one was great - except for the rainout! We were playing right through with great pace and then got rained out. : ( Day 2 had perfect weather but we ended up behind a wedding party’s outing so very slow play. We were able to finish all 18. It’s a beautiful course with just enough challenge to keep it very interesting!
Stratton
The course is in good condition. They have made improvements to the bunkers from the last time I played there. The pace of play was good considering it was a Saturday.
Golf Review
The course conditions was very good. There are alot of blind shots that make it more difficult for your first round at the course. the greens were a little shaggy and slow.
Stratton
Wasn't impressed. Course conditions were ok, we weren't told they aerated. Old ,bad carts, no yardage books, so we had no idea, which way to go. Not going back
Fun round
Played the Lake/Mountain 18. First 9 I played with a couple who were members. It was my first time playing there and they gave me advice which was very helpful. Unfortunately they only played 9 holes.
The whole staff was very friendly. The course was in good shape. The grains on the lake nine hole were fast wow the grains on the mountain nine holes were slower. I can see why this course got a 4.9 rating. If you get the chance, I would definitely go play this course.
Fun Mountain Course
We played in early June. Weather was great and the course was in perfect condition. The tee sheet was open so we played as a twosome in about three hours taking our time to enjoy the great views. Course conditions were good. The greens were very receptive and a little bit slow. Fairways were in good condition. Staff were very friendly and the patio at the bar offered a great view back up the mountain. If you play in early June during the week make it a day trip as the resort restaurants are all closed. I’d recommend this course to anyone in Southern Vermont.
Stratton
Played the course on a Monday. It was uncrowded and the pace of play was excellent. The course was in good shape.
Stratton Mountain
The course had some beautiful views and was wonderfully maintained. The staff were very friendly and kind and went out of their way to make sure we had the best time. We will definitely be back.
great value if you book on line
Really enjoy playing this course. The 3 nines are quite different: Lake-fairly flat and not too challenging. Mountain-hilly and more difficult. Forest - hilly and the most difficult of the three. Course in really good condition. Greens a little slower than I am used to.
