Excellent course!
One of my favorite courses in Montgomery. I haven't been back to town in quite a few years and it was good to see that it was in as great shape, even better than it was years ago. Highly recommended.
Lagoon Again
Course is never in bad shape but it would be nice to show your customers appreciation by added coolers or at least putting ice cooler on the course considering how hot it is..a nice cold towel would go along ways towards your image. I always like the course whether I play well or not…ijs
Shame on lagoon
Golf has always been game of integrity. If you punch the greens at least let your patrons know so that they are aware of what to expect. Money is not everything although we understand that golf courses have to be maintained and employees have to be paid. For the love of the game…don’t run patrons away!!!!
Greens were in terrible condition. Obviously mold and some kind of fungus destroyed them. Too bad because the rest of the course was in great shape.
Better than I remember
I have played here dozens of times and I recall that the last time I played I said “I’m not coming back”.
Buy I did and I am glad I did!
Traps are mediocre but course was good and greens err ok in most places.
About as expected
Trees need to be cut back to open up more aggressive shots. Greens were mediocre in many spots. Traps mediocre … about worth $30-$35 to play.
Good course. Good price.
Not the fanciest course around but it is in great condition. The people are friendly and the price is reasonable.
