Good value
Quality value for a nice age restricted club. Great pace of play for an afternoon round. Staff was friendly and cordial.
decent for the money
Course was in good shape but expect every hole a fairway bunker at 250 to 280 yards. Just repetitive after a while. I would rather play Redhawk or Lone Tree for the same money.
Great course
Course is in outstanding shape, very well kept and has something for everyone.
Good value
A good challenge in great condition. Greens were fast and in great condition. The member I played with was proud of the course and helpful on ball placement.
The starter listened to me when I told him that I would and could play with men....not every starter will fill out a group with a women.
Tough course in great shape.
This was my first time playing this very challenging course and although it kicked my butt, I can’t wait to play it again. The total experience was positive and felt more like a country club than a semi-public course. It started in the parking lot. As I was changing into my golf shoes, a member of the staff pulled up with a golf cart, which should be mandatory, if they aren’t already. The staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities are first rate.
The practice putting green was in great shape and perfectly matched the speed and contours of the greens on the course. The driving range features real grass (not an Astroturf mat on a concrete slab or a rubber “tee” in sight) and an area where you could practice your mid-range chipping. There was another green with a sand trap where you could practice all of those important “around the green” scoring shots.
The course itself is in great shape and presents a real challenge. There are very few flat lies anywhere on the course. Whether you’re hitting from the fairway or the rough, you’re going to have an uphill, downhill or sidehill lie most of the time. The greens, although they are meticulously well maintained and amazingly consistent, offer their own challenge. While the contours of the greens are far more subtle than the steep slopes of the rest of the course, they force you to be very precise with both your line and your speed on almost every putt.
Now that I have played it once, I expect that I will become very familiar with this fantastic course over the next several years.
Great deal
Can't beat $25 for 18. Staff was great, course was in good shape. Thanks golfnow for the hot deal.
nice golf course
Actually, its my 3d time this year, always happy to play there.
Only concern is - not repaired ball marks. But this is on players- course provides free repair tools.
Fun layout, very good condition, will play again soon...
Had a blast. Pace of play was perfect and course was an "8" in my book.
Great course!
I played HEB for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon (GolfNow Hot Deal). Luckily, I got paired with a gentleman who knew the course well. The course is well-maintained and challenging. The 30-40mph winds added to the challenge. I will definitely return when, hopefully, the wind is not blowing so hard.
Green's and fairway's in good shape.
Was very windy at the time we played. At least it made it a little cooler, as it was hot that afternoon. The course has a lot of undulation in the fairways. Elevated tees for many holes.
It is a fun course to play.
Fair challenge
I arrived fairly late (3 minutes before tee time) and there were no issues, staff friendly and helpful.
The course is pretty for a residentially-enclosed track. Very undulating. Fairways are wide and the rough not too challenging. Not difficult to find stray shots. A good mix of hole challenges, plenty reachable in regulation even for a high-handicapper like me. Certainly had a few birdie looks.
The greens were strangely slow - not sure why, they looked pristine enough.
All in all, enjoyable course and would definitely play again when there are deals.
The course is in great shape. It came out of winter very well. The greens are a bit slow, but in good shape.
The staff was very friendly and made us feel like"members for a day". If you have not played here you should put this on your must play list for 2013. It is in great shape, has some cool holes and no two holes look alike.

Fantastic layout, challenging drives, interesting putts, very nice facilities. Good bang for the buck.
Good Golf
The course is challenging without being overpowering. Lots of elevation change and enough bunkers to keep you honest. A few forced carries over environmental areas keep it interesting. The greens were just about recovered from aerating and bit bumpy, but that is to be expected at this time of year. Relaxed atmosphere and the pace of play was good. Only bumped into the foursome ahead of us on the par 3's...and never waited more than a couple of minutes. Good course, play it!
course was great!
not a lot of trees..fairway is great! greens r maintained well..love the longer holes of 350+. very few water hazards, which is always a plus for us begineers :)
