Meadow Hills Golf Course
About
Meadow Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole course in Aurora that was designed by Henry B. Hughes, who designed a few other courses in the Colorado countryside. This municipal golf course stretches over 6,492 yards, playing to a par of 70. The course's landscape includes six lakes, which provide water hazards that come into play on several holes. It is also very well-bunkered. Meadow Hills Golf Course's signature hole is the par-4 18th. The hole is 401 yards and requires a tricky shot over a water hazard. There is also a putting green and on-site teaching pro, as well as twilight discounts.

Challenging Target Golf
A fun test of golf, the sweet sound of a ball hitting a tree can be heard constantly throughout the course. Very narrow windows, ball placement is key. From the tips shot shaping becomes far more critical, with boxes set up to force a draw or fade. The course was in good shape overall, fast greens with rarely a flat putt. Overall a good course, a bit gimmicky though in its style. 4/5 would play again.
Old School Fun
What a fun course with old school tight fairways lined with trees. The Pro Shop staff was excellent, beverage cart was timely and bar staff was superb. Fairways were in fantastic shape and the greens were excellent. My wife and I had a great time playing Meadow Hills. Highly recommend this course when you visit Aurora, CO.
Meadow Hills
Good to play Meadow hills again. It's probably been 25 years. I lived in Denver for 72 years and enjoyed many ofi ts public courses. The last the Galbreaths played there was with Dave Melton who was frequently seen there. Sadly Dave has passed on ,,but I think he'd say put some more sand in the traps. Still a fun day.

Consistently Good
Lots to love about Meadow Hills. This is a challenging classic course that can be absolutely brutal if your game is just a little off. Stay out of the trees and you may have a chance to score on the super smooth and fast greens with tricky slopes.Conditions were very good as usual, and the greens were certainly the star. There are not may courses I play where the ball rolls so effortlessly on the putting surface.
Meadow Hills has a great collection of 5 par 3s. From the seemingly simple 120 yard 13th to the beastly 220 yard 17th, I usually find myself hitting 5 different clubs on these holes. None of the par 3s look too similar and that is a great feature of this course. If there is a weakness in the layout it is the 3 par 5s which are relatively uninteresting, although 16 is a beautiful golf hole with a demanding tee shot. The par 4s on the course offer a great variety of looks off the tee. Hole 1 is the toughest opener around in my opinion, and hole 14 is a real monster that can easily play like a 3 shot hole.
Pin location 5 is apparently the Sunday Set-Up, as most hole locations were tucked in tough spots. We didn’t see a lot of puts drop today, but it was still a fun round. This is a course that will keep me coming back consistently, it never disappoints and always offers a great test. I’m lucky to have this one in my back yard.
Best Greens Around
Not sure the greens could have been any better. So smooth and so fast. Could be frustrating at times, but fun to play on those conditions. Murphy Creek greens across town are also great, but MH has the advantage in my opinion.
It's great to have a variety of course options so close together.
Course is in great shape and I want to get back there soon to improve on my pitiful putting performance.
Always a good time.
Meadow Hills is one of my wife and I favorite courses. Fun course to play. Faculty is always nice and conditions of the course are always in good shape.
