Great value with speedy pace of play
I’ve played at River Wilds quite a few times over the last 5 years and I’ve never been disappointed. The course is challenging and kept in good shape and best of all I’ve never seen it overcrowded. In fact the last two times out we finished in just under four hours. If your someone looking for the “small town” course experience this certainly knocks it out the park. My only complaint is I wish it was a little closer to Omaha.
Nats & bugs
Hard to even play the course with all the bugs flying in your mouth & around your face as you try to hit. Tough course due thick rough, wish there wasn't so many bugs
good place to play!
We were having a great round until the pro shop started putting guys out on the back 9 in front of us, it slowed us down alot. i hate when courses do that! but i like playing here alot!
Challenging holes and risk reward shots
The course was in great shape and was fun to play with some challenging holes
Nice Course
Course was in good shape. Round was enjoyable, except perhaps for Rory and Tiger hitting into us on a few occasions. I guess our 95 minute front nine was too slow for them.
I love this course
One of my favorite courses to play because the greens are fast and perfect and you can't beat the price. The course offers plenty of challenges especially if you play the back tees. The back 9 is much more difficult than the front.
Excellent.
Great conditions. Challenging holes. Staff was very helpful. Can't wait to go back.
A course with unique holes
This course has some unusual holes that require specific shots to make a good score. It has a number of well positioned bunkers and relatively small greens which generate a challenge. It is very scenic and play generally moves along at a very good pace. The greens are small but maintained very well.
Great place
Great place to play greens are good over all great place
funtastic
it was really fun but a little cold and it was slow moving there was a lot of people in front of us
A good value. Nice Back Nine.
I played Saturday with my wife. She's a beginner,, I'm a rusty infrequent player who has been as low as a 5 handicap.
The first impressions aren't great. The clubhouse is small and the course seems very open. The staff was excellent and while wide open and kind of back and forth, the front nine was in nice shape. The greens are small and firm. Anything without lots of bite won't hold them. I was never convinced of the yardages all day. I seemed to hit wedges long or short constantly.
The 10th hole is a complete joke and the 11th is nothing special then, awesome. Holes 12-17 are delightful. They're interesting, challenging and scenic.
All in all. It's well worth the money.
Good Course!
I have played River Wild quite a few times, for a golfnow deal its worth coming up and playing. We showed up and there was a scramble before us so we had to play the front twice, because of slow play.
Lots of difficult holes, bring balls with you if you slice the ball.
Super Value
River Wilds is a great value course. Staff at the pro shop and dining room were very helpful and pleasant. Carts are well equipped with ball and club cleaners and a insulated box for the drinks! Nice touch. Course was in excellent condition and the back nine especially was very pretty. Bunkers could have used a bit of work due the crispy sand. Pace of play was good. Overall, a very good value for $$.
John
Course is in really nice shape and we played in 3 1/2 hours on a Saturday.
Hidden Gem outside Omaha
The course is always well maintained. Greens put true with quite a but of break. Fairways are smooth. Greens are smaller making the course a bit more challenging. Overall are ally good course.
Nice track
This was an excellent course for small town golf. Many nice features, lots of trees and nice smooth greens.
