Gimme some yardages
Nice course, poor condition. Much ground under repair but not marked.
New sod in many places, bunkers and alongside the greens
It was cart path only, no surprise as there has been a lot of rain recently.
But .........
I had to walk all over the fairways to find a yardage. Would it kill you to paint at 100, 150, 200 and 250 on the cart path? Remember, it was cart path only and so iad to walk out to my ball hoping to find any marker, this is not acceptable at $65 weekdays.
Let's not forget, no outside food or drink allowed, no cart girl and no water on the course.
It's an easy course, I'm a bogey golfer and shot +4 on the back. For that I was glad. A little work on common facilities would make it much better.
Nice course
Nice course played day after rain not a good time to play this nice course as it was a cart path only day will make sure if I ever play again that everywhere on this gem has been dry for a while so I can enjoy it as it is meant to be,fun layout. Looking forward to another crack at this fine golf course some day in the future...
Great course
Excellent test of golf. The pace of play was very good
Greems were in great shape. I truly enjoy the atmosphere here at Big Creek.
Nice layout, especially the back nine
Front nine does have nice houses on the course. Back nine doesn't have any houses on it. Really enjoyed the back nine layout. Greens are bent grass and were in perfect shape. They were quick and super smooth with lots of undulations. Really enjoyed the course. Played in under three and half hours. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend, five stars.
Loved the layout. Greens were mostly in great shape. Would like to play it again.
Great time at Big Creek
Had great time. The staff was awesome! I had played this course 1 other time, but my friends were 1st timers.
Nice Day
Played at 1 pm so most people were finishing. Great layout and course in great shape. Fairways are a 10. Greens an 8. I’ll be back.
Tough to get to but worth it.
Nice course. Well maintained. The greens were a little slow for my liking but that’s a personal preference. Probably 8 or 9 on the stimp so they we not bad by any stretch. The staff is very accommodating and all in all a nice experience.
First rate!
Hardly a blade of grass out of place! Excellent greens! Go play it!
Almost Criminal
After being charged $140.75 we were unable to travel because of restrictions living in New York State. I called, emailed, and text both GolfNow and the course sharing our circumstances. I was basically told that all will be fine, reservation cancelled and no charge to the card used.
Well, that really was a lie. I was charged after many communications with recorded, chat sessions, and even three people at the course. I was never even in the state on July 3rd to enjoy the course.
Anyway, our only option now will be to dispute the charges with the bank I guess.
Nobody at GolfNow will even talk about it, everything is back to a chat online that is nearly impossible to start.
I will avoid GolfNow and their criminal tactics.
Hidden gem
Great course for money. Only negative traps were on a 5 scale. Greens excellent
Fun and Friendly
Lots of people playing. They were all layer back and let my play through. Easy in and out! Good mix of long and short holes.
