Located in Ft. Lupton, Coyote Creek Golf Course offers 6,412 yards of golf from its longest tees with a par of 71. Matt Eccles designed the course, which features several par-5 holes. The course is challenging but it is not so intense as to be off-putting to beginning, intermediate, or high handicap golfers. The course is well-bunkered with a few doglegs. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The well-maintained course has amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. Its quiet location guarantees a serene environment for golf and it is usually not very busy, making Coyote Creek Golf Course a popular choice for those who are fed up with crowded courses and having to make reservations far in advance.

This course overbooked
Customer service is terrible. They overbook the course, it's 5 to 10 minutes wait on every hole. When they have a ranger out they tell everyone to speed up even though your waiting on the players ahead of you.
Beautiful day on the course
For mid July the course was is great shape. Course was in great shape and the greens were fast.
Think the beautiful day caused players to slow down causing the front 9 to take 3 hours. No Marshall's were out but was able to make back nine in 1:45.
The cart paths need repairing as well as the grass at the point of entering or exiting the cart path. The greens and fairways are very good!
Never Again
4 of us golfed at Coyote Creek July 11, 2021 @ 3 pm. It took us 4.5 hours to get to hole 13. It was so backed up, it just was not fun. This is not the first time, is is always backed up, but this was the worst! After driving ahead to hole 17, there was a foursome that was moving extremely slow. They had backed up the course so badly, that there were 2 sets of four waiting at holes at times. Where were the RANGERS? We ended up going to hole 1 again and playing 1 and 2, just to be able to play and then left. After relaying to staff, one said, he just washes carts, the other said, that's the way it is. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Price is right
Coyote Creek's rates are way better than their competitor in Firestone as well as a lot of other courses. I can't afford to pay some of the rates other courses are charging. Wish they were a little closer to me though I will continue to golf there. I like their rates & love their course. Hope they continue to keep it affordable.
our 'home"" course
This course is an excellent choice for our level of play.
Length is good and fair at every hole.
Only thing that needs improvement are the cart
paths and areas around the paths.
