About
Formerly a cornfield, Robert Trent Jones Jr. utilized the natural area and the import of over 600,000 cubic yards of dirt to create the challenging Ute Creek Golf Course. The championship course has a traditional links-style layout that is said to challenge even the most avid of golfers. The public, 18-hole golf course offers 7,167 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. It features several water hazards, especially on the back nine holes, with five lakes situated on the course and two streams that wind through it. Ute Creek Golf Course's well-bunkered greens and undulating, multi-level fairways provide more interesting elements to the game.

Great Layout
The layout of the course is fantastic, the conditions were solid. The pace of play on the weekend is here or miss. Took us 4:45 to play one Saturday and 4:15 the next.
Hidden Gem
The course has all the challenges for any level. Great track!
Great course Great price!
First time playing this course and did not expect for the course to be so nice at the price I paid for four golfers and carts. We will definitely be going back!!!
Great Shape
Ute Creek was in excellent shape. Pro Shop staff was helpful.
After the storm
Course received a ton of rain night before. Employees did a great job of cleanup. Unfortunately there wasn’t time to get the greens to dry completely out. Friendly staff.,great price and fantastic top of the tier public course.
Didn’t get to play
I booked a tee time on GolfNow for Ute creek golf course but became deathly ill the day before and could not play. I know GolfNow doesn’t do refunds but there has to be some sort of exceptions to this policy… now I’m out $60 and slightly frustrated with GolfNow and this course. Like at the very least let me reschedule my tee time to a different date or give me credit towards another tee time but just to be ok with taking $60 from someone and not giving them any service in return because of a dumb no refund police is whack!
Good Experience
Not the warmest welcome I ever had at a golf course, but things got better after the first impression.
Driving range and other practice areas were good. The course was in good condition.Greens were fast and rolled true.
We would play this course again. Had fun!

Slow, but in great shape
Typically a slow course, but still a lot of fun. You meet decent people too, most are down to earth.
Summer at Ute
Definitely getting a little worn
Lots of brown areas on fairways now as the heat makes maintenance harder.
Greens are ok. Lots of unrepaired or poorly repaired ball marks (if you flight one in high enough to leave a mark you should know how to repair it!).
Bunkers are “like a box of chocolates”. Some have sand others barely do and a couple have grass areas on the faces.
That said with a golf now discount it is really goood value for money.
Excellent Value
This is one of my favorite courses in CO. Awesome layout and in great condition. I can't wait to play it again
Good solid course. Fair for all levels as long as you play from the right tees.
Greens are really well maintained and run true. The biggest issue is players not repairing.
Bunkers are decent bearing in mind the rain we have had.
Fairways are also in good condition. Few bad spots anywhere.
To the Beach!
Great course, with forgiving fairways. Tons of sand traps, which was challenging but fun. Course was in great condition figuring it rained hard the night before.
Looking forward to playing the course again soon!
Will be back
This course is semi difficult but forgiving with some open fairways. Some long par 5's and challenging par 4's with a lot of sand around the sloped greens. I enjoy a little challenge getting up to the green and really love greens I need to read and use all of my skill.
You will not be let down playing this course.
Overall was a great golf experience. Course was in pristine shape! Pace of play was 4 hours 30 minutes on a Sunday. Starter at the first tee was wonderful. Super nice and switched his cart with our cart because it was nicer. The short dude in the pro shop was rude!
