About
Formerly a cornfield, Robert Trent Jones Jr. utilized the natural area and the import of over 600,000 cubic yards of dirt to create the challenging Ute Creek Golf Course. The championship course has a traditional links-style layout that is said to challenge even the most avid of golfers. The public, 18-hole golf course offers 7,167 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. It features several water hazards, especially on the back nine holes, with five lakes situated on the course and two streams that wind through it. Ute Creek Golf Course's well-bunkered greens and undulating, multi-level fairways provide more interesting elements to the game.

Good, fun, challenging course!
This course was a fun course to play. The course definitely plays tricks on your eyes. The course is very well guarded on almost every hole. With tons of bunkers to provide challenges around the greens. The conditions were good when I played!
Staff should really notify guests when they punch/ sand the greens!!!
Played on 5/23/2026, paid full price for newly punched/ sanded greens, this place was a freaking sandbox! Nobody on their staff told me the greens were punched the previous day when I made my tee time, there was no mention of it, but they had zero issues charging us regular full price rates.There was no reduction in the greens fee, I paid full price. I don't know who is running this place, they need s management refresher course in communication, and relay it to their team members. Did I mention the greens were punched yesterday and we were charge full price, prime rates. Absolutely ludicrous, shady staffers, just notify guests that the greens are/ were punched/ sanded, and offer a discounted rate. Deceitful business practices. That's what we get for our city running our courses.

Ute Creek was a good challenge - great layout! Everything is a lot dry here in Colorado but Ute Creek was doing ok

Great course! I love variety and the conditions were awesome.
Great Layout
The layout of the course is fantastic, the conditions were solid. The pace of play on the weekend is here or miss. Took us 4:45 to play one Saturday and 4:15 the next.
Hidden Gem
The course has all the challenges for any level. Great track!

First time playing this course and did not expect for the course to be so nice at the price I paid for four golfers and carts. We will definitely be going back!!!
Great Shape
Ute Creek was in excellent shape. Pro Shop staff was helpful.
After the storm
Course received a ton of rain night before. Employees did a great job of cleanup. Unfortunately there wasn’t time to get the greens to dry completely out. Friendly staff.,great price and fantastic top of the tier public course.
Didn’t get to play
I booked a tee time on GolfNow for Ute creek golf course but became deathly ill the day before and could not play. I know GolfNow doesn’t do refunds but there has to be some sort of exceptions to this policy… now I’m out $60 and slightly frustrated with GolfNow and this course. Like at the very least let me reschedule my tee time to a different date or give me credit towards another tee time but just to be ok with taking $60 from someone and not giving them any service in return because of a dumb no refund police is whack!
