Terrible course conditions and horrible service from staff.
I have played this course many times in the past and it's sadly going in the wrong direction. Course was in terrible condition with the greens and rough barley maintained for a holiday weekend when expecting more business. Bartender was extremely rude. She was asked what food we could order and she stated 'nothing there is no food to serve and I'm not turning it on' this was around 3 or 4pm. You could offer every hot deal there is or even a free round but will never waste time on this course again.
Good course for $$$
We play here a couple times a year. The fairways and greens were in the best condition I’ve seen them in. The 2nd and 3rd cut could use a good mowing as they will swallow a ball so bad you can’t find them. Need to to really thin the goose population and remove the droppings from the greens Still a fun course with challenging greens.
Good value for the money
Good test of golf with nice green complexes that will test your game. You will get your money’s worth here!
Course is in great condition compared to a few years ago but the pace was alittle slow.

A good place to play
I was in the area on business. Looking for a place to play and found Locust Hills. It was a fun course to play. The tee boxes fine. The fairways were in good shape and still growing in as its early so i would expect they will only get better. I really enjoyed the greens they rolled really well. Water comes into play on several holes, especially on the back 9. Stay left off the tee on #17 to stay dry. I would play it again if i was out that way.

Had an amazing time playing. The back 9 is immaculate. Would highly recommend.
The Grive!!
It’s a drive for us, but a great course for the price.
It’s in good condition and always great pace of play. Hate adding almost an hour drive to/from the course but the price and pace of play keep us coming back.
