Northwoods at it's Best
Saw deer crossing the fairway, just an amazing relaxing and challenging at the same time kind of day! Can't wait to go again.
Unique Course that Spans Two States
There are not many courses where you play in two different states - first four holes are in Michigan and last five are in Wisconsin. Greens are large, built up and filled with undulation and character. Course fits the bill of ‘they don’t make them like this anymore.’
Course is a fun and unique 9-hole that I recommend in the area. The only negative would be the constant firing of guns that is from the gun range on the resort.
This course crosses the line!
This 9-hole course crosses the line! The state line, that is. First four holes are in Michigan, final five are in Wisconsin. The course is fairly flat. The front four play around ponds, the back five play through pines and and open areas, and back upon the Land O'Lakes airport. (With a hard slice off #7, your ball will be bouncing down the runway.) A smattering of sandtraps and typical northwoods-sparse-foliage roughs are not too punishing for errant shots.
If you are looking for a beautifully manicured 'country club' outing, look elsewhere. But, if you want a change of pace, easy-nine outing, this is an enjoyable course.
