Eagle River Golf Course

The course was great. Very challenging. The only problem we had were the two groups in front of us when we made the turn. The group right in front of us had 3 players playing with one set of clubs. They were playing a best ball but still they should have all had a set of clubs. Same with the group in front of them - 3 golfers with only two sets of clubs. These golfers had very poor course etiquette, never raked bunkers or fixed diviots on tee boxes. Course maintenance had a lot of work to do after these two groups.

Enjoyed as,always, back 9 got very slow near the end. They need to change pin placements more often as greens were worn and beat up near the pins.

Eagle River GC offers challenging holes cut through the forest, demanding accurate shots. Elevation changes, water and several dog legs both right and left provide a variety of interesting holes. Greens were in very good condition too. The club pro greeted us at check in, and all staff were friendly and helpful.

Course was in decent condition, greens were a bit beat up in a few areas but good speed.

Staff extremely friendly as always.

Its a good value when comparing to others in the area.

Beautiful course in Eagle River. Not a long course but clearly not a pushover with tight fairways and lots of elevation changes. The bonus is plenty of wildlife encounters including deer and eagles!!

Course layout, pace of play, and condition of course were alll enjoyable. Bar service and condition of facility was fair. Bartender not very friendly and air conditioning was not working.

Course was in great condition. Staff very friendly.

Course itself was in fairly good condition for October.

Sand traps were awful , but we did have some pretty good rains recently.

This is a must do course in Northern Wisconsin. I have never seen it in better condition.

Beautiful Northwoods course. Our play yesterday wasn't as good as our previous experiences. For not being very busy after Labor Day play was very slow. 2 groups ahead of us had things bogged down and they had no interest in letting anyone play thru. Pro shop staff friendly and enjoyable as always, bar staff not so much.

It may be a case of end of season burnout.

We will certainly be back, hopefully a better experience.
